*Y/N's POV*
Inori: "Y/N, are you okay? You haven't spoke for a while and we have been walking through the fields for a while now."
I slash another balloon monster without stopping.
Y/N: "I'm fine. We just need to find a better place for Exp. I also want to get away from those other heroes. Can't stand them already, they're all cocky in their own ways."
Inori: "What about Naofumi? He seemed like a nice person."
Y/N: "He is a good person. I don't mind him, but I don't think we should be near him at the moment. He needs to clear his head, after everything that happened. You think he didn't do anything?"
Inori: "I know Myne lied about the whole thing. Only because she brought me into it and Naofumi did go to sleep early. There is something suspicious about the kingdom."
I stabbed another balloon, except this one was red. Strange, must be tougher. It did give me more Exp too. 7 Exp this time, compared to the orange ones that gave me 1 Exp.
Y/N: "I can see that the king has something against me and Naofumi, I just don't know what it is."
We came up to a river. I thought of something that might help with an element.
Y/N: "Inori, use your hands to gather some water up."
Inori: "Okay!"
She did so and walked over to me.
Inori: "What do you want me to do with it?"
I extended my left hand towards her.
Y/N: "Drop it over the ring."
She did so. Just as I was expecting, the ring absorbed the water. I felt a strange type of power, surging through me. I noticed I glowed blue a bit.
Inori: "What's happening?!"
The blue glow went away and I put my hand forward and shot water out of it. I saw a menu pop from my ring, saying that I unlocked the water element. Nice.
Y/N: "I now have the water element."
Inori: "Maybe you'll be able to get the other elements in similar ways."
Y/N: "I'm not sticking my hand in fire to get that element, nor am I getting struck by lightning."
Inori chuckled at what I said, I smiled and looked up. It's getting dark.
Y/N: "We should find some food fast and try to get some rest after we eat. Maybe we should try fishing."
Inori: "We don't have a fishing pole though..."
I smirked at her.
Inori: "What is it?"
Y/N: "Watch this."
I looked towards the river and motioned my hands downward and raised them in a circle. I saw some fish get carried up. I brought my hands closer to myself and the fish landed next to us. They had some pretty sharp teeth... But they aren't piranha. Hopefully not poisonous...
Y/N: "Kill them, and we'll need to get a fire going somehow. I'm used to having the fire element..."
Inori: "I know of ways to start fires, my grandfather taught me when we went camping when I was young."
Y/N: "He seemed like an amazing person."
Inori: "He was..."
I heard something in the bushes. I turned towards it and got ready for whatever it was. I saw a bunny come out with red glowing eyes.
Y/N: "Ah, I see. The bunny of death has come for us!"
It jumped at me and I wasn't really ready for that. I brought my left arm up and it bit into my arm. My arm began bleeding.
Y/N: "Fuck!"
I started waving my arm around, trying to get the little shit off of it.
Y/N: "Get off! You little fuck!"
I created an ice sword and stabbed it and it let go. The bunny fell to the ground and was twitching. It's blood got all over me. Great...
Y/N: "Fuck bunnies, the devil sent that fucker!"
Inori: "Are you okay?"
Y/N: "Should be."
I rolled my sleeve up and saw I was still bleeding.
Y/N: "Damn."
I saw Inori going through her bag... Wait, I didn't even realize she brought a bag with her.
Inori: "I bought some medical items that would help us on our journey, before we left."
I sat down on a log. She walked over to me and grabbed my left arm.
Inori: "Hold still."
She took some kind of liquid and put it on a rag, she started rubbing it on the injury. It was burning. I kicked one foot onto the ground.
Inori: "Calm down. I know it may hurt or burn, but this will help with the recovery."
I just nodded and let her do what she was doing. Once she was finished rubbing it in, she grabbed some bandages and wrapped it around the injury.
Inori: "There, should be better in a few days. You should probably be careful, be ready for anything."
Y/N: "Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, mother."
Inori: "You're a hero, one of the five, you do need to be more cautious. What if--"
Y/N: "I get it. I'll be more careful. You sound like my sister..."
I ended up sounding a bit sad when I said "my sister". I think she noticed that.
Inori: "You sound like you miss your sister."
Y/N: "She wasn't there for most of my life, but when she was, she was always there for me. Always telling me to be careful, afraid that I would die. Although, I technically did die."
Inori: "Wait, you died? What do you mean?"
Y/N: "I told you about my fight with my father."
Inori: "You did, what does that have to do with this?"
Y/N: "He killed me. But, I ended up coming back to life."
Inori: "That sounds terrible, a father shouldn't do that... But, how did you come back to life?"
Y/N: "The light element brought me back. It healed all of my wounds and gave me incredible power. That's how I defeated my father. It's too bad I don't have that power anymore. Or for now."
Inori: "Light element..."
Y/N: "You know something?"
Inori: "I've only heard rumors about it. It was mainly from the old Elemental Hero. Could just be a legend though."
Old Elemental Hero...? Wonder who that was and what type of person they were.
Y/N: "I see, you'll have to tell me about it later. For now, we should get a fire going and cook the food we have, even the death rabbit."
Inori: "I agree."
Inori gets the fire going and I go and pick all of food up, to bring it over. Once I brought it all over, we got some sticks and jammed the sticks into the ground and stabbed the fish and the rabbit on top of the sticks and let them cook. Once they were finally cooked, we ate. The food tasted decent. Wouldn't say good, or bad. Before we did cook the rabbit, we took the fur off of it. We'll see how much it sells for in the next town or village we make it to. I laid on the ground.
Y/N: "Sorry that we don't have beds or anything, the ground is our new bed for now."
Inori: "It's okay."
I see Inori use her bag as a pillow. Now I wish I had a bag. Oh well. Just gonna try to sleep for now...
