The Dragon Hourglass

*Y/N's POV*

We were heading to the weapon shop, to check on armor. I was more of being forced to. Inori didn't like the fact that I kept getting hurt. It's gonna happen, no matter what... We were getting close until we saw Naofumi. He was wearing new armor. He looks like a barbarian... 

Y/N: "And we meet again."

Naofumi: "Seems like it."

Inori: "Are you really trying to talk to him, just so you don't need to get armor."

Y/N: "No..."

She punched my left arm lightly, where it was bitten. I grabbed my arm and gritted my teeth.

Inori: "See, you need armor!"

Y/N: "Yeah, to protect myself from you..."

I looked at Naofumi and noticed someone. It was Raphtalia, but she was grown up. Weird...

Y/N: "Hello, Raphtalia. Looks like you grew up fast."

Naofumi: "You think so?"

Raphtalia: "It's good to see you again. sir!"

Y/N: "You don't have to call me sir, call me by my name, Y/N."

Inori: "This is great and all, but let's get your damn new armor!"

Y/N: "Calm down... Where are you two heading?"

Naofumi: "We're heading to see a giant hourglass. It's in that giant church you can see from town square."

Y/N: "Interesting, why are you going to go watch sand fall?"

Naofumi: "It has to do with when the Waves will come."

I decided to be more serious about the matter.

Y/N: "Oh, really? We need to go see it then. Mind if we come with you? I haven't seen it yet."

Inori: "But--"

Naofumi: "Sure, I guess..."

Raphtalia: "Then, let's get going!"

*Timeskip*

Lady: "Come this way."

We were in the giant church. This lady wearing white led us to the giant hourglass. Stairs started to move up, so we could go up to the hourglass.

Naofumi: "Is this the dragon hourglass the king was talking about?"

Y/N: "He mentioned this thing?"

Naofumi's shield started shining green, while my ring started shining F/C. A beam of green shot out of his shield, at the hourglass. My ring did the same, except F/C. I saw something appear at the top of my vision. I noticed it was a timer counting down.

Y/N: "So, that's when the wave will start."

Motoyasu: "Is that Naofumi and Y/N I see?"

I turned around and looked at Motoyasu. He had that bitch with him... He looked at Naofumi.

Motoyasu: "Dude, come on. You're still fighting with such flimsy equipment?"

He then looked at me.

Motoyasu: "Seriously? You still aren't even wearing armor?"

Inori: "I was trying to get him to buy armor..."

Raphtalia: "Who are they, Naofumi-sama? Y/N-sama?"

Naofumi gritted his teeth and started to walk by Motoyasu.

Myne: "Hey! Motoyasu-sama's talking to you!"
