I was quite a distance away from the weird and intimidating noise and finally relaxed a bit. I took a big breath and tried to calm down my damn and dumb consciousness. Somehow I needed to chill my guts.
Like seriously I had to get my sh*t together out here!
Ok, take a really deep breath and calm down, panic doesn't help at the moment. What to do next? Think girl, u want to survive. How else will you ever get to see your parents again!

I stood there trying to find a solution for my struggle of the whole life experienced so far.
I could go towards this big empty hall. Maybe some goods could be found in the ruins of it.

With this goal in mind, I made my way to the hall.
The doors nearly fell out of their angles and I pushed one aside to enter.
Whilst entering I nearly tripped over a broken staircase.
After I found my balance again, I looked around the big and spacious room. Many chairs made out of wood laid around on the floor. Broken, missing wooden legs.
A total mess, looking like everything was left in a hurry of minutes.
What could cause such a panic in a short amount of seconds? An attack from enemies probably.
Dust layered over all the furniture laying around as much as it covered the ground. I took a step and held my nose closed to not sneeze out loud. Not too great in complete silence actually, so I didn't dare to in advance.
Who would have guessed seeing a small fire in here? Me either. In a corner, an old newspaper was nearly burnt completely. I took a closer look and picked up a small bit of an article remaining as a lot crumbled down as ash.
