Chapter 7

I opened my eyes and saw an old concrete, flat ceiling. Where did this person bring me to? I pushed myself up onto my elbows and looked around to inspect the surrounding. A very shabby room with improvised furniture.
Damn, my wealth didn't go well with shabby and old at all. Especially as I bought new decorations and furniture quite often, twice a year the whole room. Wow was I spoiled deep down to the bone. Living here would teach me a lesson for life.
"Our weak newcomer is finally awake guys! What a view to see her so lively again! Welcome in our group dear and don't you dare collapse without further warnings again okay?"
A woman rushed towards me and held my hands in hers. I simply stared at her with a perplexed expression and kept sticking to nodding.
"Ok, I understood everything you said so far. Can you explain the situation and moreover the building and its' circumstances?"-"Ah that. Hm. How shall I start? Well, I make it easy for you to understand. The city is pretty destructed as you might have noticed on the way to where you fainted."
I stared at her and moved my legs over the edge of the bed.
Then I stretched my arms and asked her about how I should continue on.
"Oh, that? Well, what if I advice you what to do from now on. Ok, so the first thing is introducing you to the people living here!"
 She spoke with eager and jumped up to rush out. In a matter of seconds, she vanished and I was left to myself being overly confused.
Damn, this woman was like a shadow disappearing in a split second when one wasn't paying attention.
