"What happened", he inquired looking at the glass mess. Jack is the famous detective in our district. He was also the person involved in my case with Max. At the age of 42 he was still in great condition. He was the only police officer to hold the best results award for ten years but most of all I trusted him.

And so I told him everything that happened today from the gypsies prediction till my meeting with him. He patiently listened in silence with each passing sentence of my story his face grew grim and serious. His expression made my heart sank and I knew I was in trouble.

"This isn't a joke Charles its real we can't take this as a joke and ignore it. You and I both saw what that thing was and how it disappeared without a trace anyother time if you had told me about your day I would have said it was a joke but this is pure trouble. Do you know what day is today. I never paid attention to the date it was holiday and last day of the week.

"I don't understand what you mean by that, what does the date got to do with all this", I said to him.

"Its thirteenth the same date and day when Max had an accident and we couldn't find his body, its been six and a half months since then it happened in October. Also with what you have told me we need to find that gypsy woman".

"I don't understand detective nothing makes sense", I tried to move wanting to sit in a better relaxing position when my foot gave another sharp sting "ouch, ohh man this sucks".

"Let me see your foot you were having trouble with it before but I was too occupied with questions that I completely forgot you were hurt, it looks like you have gotten a few bruises as well", he examined my foot from left to right making me wince every now then. He then looked at my arms and face.

"The damage isn't high but u have forced it to swell. Wait here, no I think its better if we go into my room. I don't want to leave you alone defenceless and hurt", he pulled me up with both hands. Placed my arm on his left shoulder and supported me with the other by placing his right hand under my chest. I limped towards his room which was on the left side of the entrance.

He gently placed me on the bed. The bed dipped a little making me fall back. I realized how tired I truly was,  I have been running and worrying all day, it felt good when I told everything to Jack.

"Stay here I will get the first aid", he left me to go into another room. I  looked around the bedroom everything was neat and clean nothing was out of place. I realised I was still holding the gun in my hand I held it tightly and moved it near my chest. To calm down the beating of my heart and to feel safe, even if this weapon isn't enough it was enough for me.

I would have to apologise to mom for not keeping my promise. .. I was trying to take my cell phone out when...
