When sleep overtook my mind the cellphone slipped from my hand and landed on my side. The call going to my mom. After that I  don't remember anything. All I saw was some guy coming towards me.

*********

The next morning I woke up to the smell of pancakes and melted butter. It made my stomach growl from hunger. I was feeling fresh and relaxed the sleep had been comfortable.

I saw my foot bandaged, wrapped and properly taken care off. My other bruises also had been treated well. As I was looking at them happily. Jack walked in and leaned agaisnt the door frame.

"I see your up, I thought I'd have to kiss the sleeping prince to break the spell, did you sleep well". He asked with both joke and concern in his voice.

I nodded my head embarrassed a little when he said about the kiss "yes I slept fine thanx to you and your kiss wouldn't have worked on me I prefer princesses lips over yours", I replied in a happy tone.

Yes I was happy, even if the sleep was just for a few hours for me it was enough plus the bigger weight of the event was now in the hands of the famous detective.

"My, talk about being rude. I never said I would kiss you with my lips the drain opener would have worked just fine", he said with mischief.

"Hey thats not nice".  He laughed loudly. "Alright get freshen up I placed the toothbrush and towel with new clothes in the bathroom . You fell a sleep in those half wet clothes I only removed your upper and shoes. Good thing it didnt rain hard and long or you would have caught fever".

I nodded my head and slowly got up from the bed trying not to push weight on my foot. I saw Jack leave before he turned around and said "I told your mom I picked you up from home last night and that you would be staying here for the next day. She didn't say much except that you were having some problems. She was very worried about you. I reassured her that you were going through some difficult time because of many things and its normal for kids your age. Your very lucky to have a mom like that Charles, don't dissapoint her". He said in a professional tone.

"Ohh and also we leave for the festival in 20 minutes so don't sleep in the bath room". He said and left.

He really thought of everything. I am just glad he talked to mom I couldn't face her because I couldnt keep my promise.
