Ikalabing Tatlong Kabanata: Sphinx Forest

Merliah's POV

"We have no other choice." Napakamot ako sa ulo dahil sa sinabi ni Zeo.

Nasa harapan na kami ng entrance ng forest. And guess what? We immediately turn into our Mertamorfosis form as soon as we enter.

Napalingon kami sa kabilang bahagi ng entrance.

"Just stay there." I heard Kyle said.

Nagulat nga din kami nang bigla siyang maging Wolf eh. Buti nga lumabas siya uli.

"But.." Nasha looks sad.

"I'll stay with her." I said.

Lumabas ako ng cave kaya agad na nagbago ang anyo ko.

"Me too." Naglakad si Kyle pero pinigilan siya ni Nasha.

"They'll need you. Besides Merliah is here." Nasha smile at him.

"Pero Nash. I'm your...alright. I'll be back."

He had no choice dahil umiling nalang si Nasha.

"Take care guys. If ever you need help I'm here." Nasha said while waving.

I saw Zeo and Ace looking at her, worried.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of her!" Masayang sabi ko.

Oh well, I will take care of her since I'm here with her.

Hinintay namin na mawala sila sa paningin namin bago umupo.

"Thank you.." She said.

"It's okay. Tinatamad din kasi akong maglakad." I smile.

Pero tinatamad talaga ako saka inaantok.

"Merliah.."

"Hmm?"

"Can I uh... ask you something?" She feel uneasy.

"Sure. What is it?"

"I uh... anong ugali ng tao ang ayaw mo?" Nagulat ako sa tanong niya but I smile later.

"Liar." That's all I say.

"Ahh." Tumango tango pa siya.

"Bakit?" I started making water butterflies to ease my boredom.

"Wala lang. I just want to know more about all of you." Napalingon ako sa kanya.

"Really? Then let me help you!" Umurong ako sa tabi niya.

"Anya and me hates liar people, we loved sweets. We are best friends since we are the only girl in the group. But now that you're here tayong tatlo na ang mag bestfriend." I started thinking about our memories.

"Jackov.. Ang pinaka masayahin sa grupo. Mukha ngang walang problema sa buhay yon eh. Hahaha. But.. Jack only hates one thing. At iyon ang pagkasira ng Primis. Jack never had anyone with him ever since. We are his family, brother, sister, mother and father. Well lahat kami ayaw mawala ang Primis, one reason ay dahil we love each other as our own family." I smile again as I reminisce our memories from the beginning up to today.

"Ace too. They treat us as his own family. They would put their lives on the line for us to stay what we are right now." I looked at her.

"I..want to stay with all of you too. I want to protect you. I want to treat you guys as my own family and I want you to treat me the same. I want to love all of you. Ah no, I already love you." I smile at her and hug her.

"We do love you na din. Wala namang dahilan para hindi diba?" She smile.

"And Zeo... Zeo seems far right? But he's not. Siya ang pinaka malapit sa puso naming lahat. Although bossy siya at cold. He never say or act against the Primis. But if ever he did we will always respect him. He, for us is our father and older brother. He does everything for everyone of us and that makes him respectful. All of him." A tear fell from my eye na agad ko namang pinunasan.

"Zeo can sacrifice everything for our sake. For the Primis sake. And because of that we will protect him. As long as we can." She look serious bago lumingon sa forest.

Right. Zeo can do all of that as long as he put his mind into it.

"Zeo... He's really strong isn't he?" Mahinang bulong ni Nasha.

"Hmm. No one knows how far he can go. And no one can read his mind." Natatawang sagot ko.

Zeo is one of the biggest mystery in the whole Etheria. Seems like he is the power itself. I mean, Zeo itself is a living walking power. Well of course except Nasha who's an Angel.

"I really want to be friends with you. I never had any family ever since. And I want the whole Primis to be my family." I smiled at her.

"You are already a family to us." She smiled at me.

Nagulat nalang ako nang bigla siyang tumayo at tumakbo sa harap ng entrance ng cave.

"What's wrong?"

"Kyle.. I can't feel Kyle." Tarantang sabi niya.

"Hey. Hey. Calm down. Baka ganoon talaga ang kapangyarihan ng gubat." Pagpapakalma ko.

"No. No one can break our bond. No one." Kagat labing sabi niya.

"I'll go in."

"No. No. Merliah wait. We didn't know what's happening. Stay here. I'll ask Zeo."

She closed her eyes for a moment.

"I..I can't reach him."

"I'll go. Wait for me-"

Tumalsik ako ng may biglang lumabas sa cave at nabunggo ako.

"Merliah. Are you okay?" Lumapit si Nasha sakin.

Napalingon ako sa lumabas. It's Mallory..

I saw Nasha step back at humawak sa ulo niya.

"Don't.. Don't think that name. Or say. No. Please No." Nagmamakaawang sabi niya.

Is she talking about this girls name?

"Yeah. That name." Napakurap nalang ako dahil sa sinagot niya.

"He-help!" Napalingon kami sa babaeng lumabas.

"What happen? Nasaan sila?" Tanong ko.

"Ma-may-"

"Ako na." Sabi ni Nasha at hinawakan ang ulo nito.

Nawalan ng malay si Mal- I mean si girl dahil sa ginawa ni Nasha.

"What did you do?" Tanong ko.

"I just need to see what she saw. Don't worry she's fine." Tumayo siya at lumapit sa entrance ng cave.

"The Tree of Life. Nadoon sila." She said.

"Tree of life? You mean.. Your tree?" Right. The Tree of life and the Lake of destruction ay pag aari ng Angel of Destruction.

"Yeah. And it is extremely dangerous more than the lake." Palakad lakad siya sa harap ng entrance.

"Asha. You think you can hold up?" Kausap niya sa sarili niya.

"No. I need to get them. You know what that tree can do."

"The what?! No. I won't!"

"Hey.. What's happening?" Naguguluhan ako dahil sarili niya lang din ang kausap niya.

"I can get in." Sabi ko.

"No. It's dangerous. That tree will kill all the living things near it." Seryosong sabi niya.

"But you can't transform." Paalala ko.

"Don't worry I can."

She wave her hand.

"Release." Sabi niya.

Napapikit ako nang malakas na liwanag ang lumabas mula sa paanan niya.

Pagmulat ko ay siya na ang Metamorfosi form niya noong nasa training room kami.
