Molly's POV

When we decided to look for Nick again, I forgot how hard it was. The last time we did, we were still heartbroken over everything that happened between us. Dad went back and forth on whether he could trust her again, just like I did. But it was harder on him. He thought of her like his own daughter. When she left, he lost a daughter. That's why he's been so depressed the past few months. He blamed her for doing what she did, he blamed himself more for not being all in the first time. This time, I saw it in his eyes, he was here till she was here.

We figured, we needed to know more about how Nick works. It may sound strange, but the Nick we knew was the Nick she showed us. Sure, we knew a lot about each other. Many of them are true. But we still don't know how she thinks. We need someone, who'd been with her long enough to know almost everything about her. We decided to see Sam, since he told us things we didn't know about her when he came the first time. Dad went in there. He said he had an idea.

Ed's POV

Sam: Well, look who it is, four people who owe me a big diamond necklace. Although, you are missing the one who owes me most. Where is she?

Ed: She left.

Sam: What? She got sick of rich people food and big houses? Or was it you she was sick of?

Ed: We're getting her back. We just need some help.

Sam: And you expect me to help? How much did you drink before coming in here.

Ed: You're funny Sam. Just like that joke you made that one time when you told us Nick loved Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons. Or when you told us when her birthday is. Or when you told us she has trouble sleeping sometimes and she needs her little friend Bobo. Remember?

Sam: What are you getting at Thompson?

Ed: You care about Nick.

Sam: I don't. She scammed us out of so much money, strung us along and was secretly working with her dad. As far as I'm concerned, she was just a tool. Someone we used. We taught her everything, especially when she had the upper hand. And she used it against us. We taught her how to lie, how to steal, how to manipulate. But she was too good.

Ed: Thanks for your help Sam.

When I went out, I was satisfied with what I learnt. With Sam's help, I remembered how talented Nick was. But I needed more. It was time to visit her dad.

Tony: Ed.

Ed: Tony, I know I'm one of the last people you'd wanna see now, but I need your help. I'm looking for Nick.

Tony: Why would I help you find MY daughter?

Ed: Because whether you like it or not, she's my daughter too.

Tony: I'm not helping you. I'm going to be out soon. I don't need you to find her. I'll do it myself.

Ed: Really? Pride? That's what you have to argue with? Let me get this straight, you won't help me find Nick, who is out there doing God knows what, because of your pride?

Tony: I know what she's doing.

Ed: No, you don't! She is 14 years old and she is out there, ALONE! You're sitting in here waiting while she is living on scraps and struggling to get by!

Things started heating up and getting intense. The guards were getting closer. As if they were getting ready to pull us away from each other.

Tony: And whose fault was this?! I would have never been in here if you hadn't denied me that loan in the first place! I would've never ended up here if your daughter didn't post those fake reviews of my restaurant! I would've never been here if your son didn't steal our ads for our reopening! And I wouldn't be stuck here, if your wife didn't steal our dishes and steal our customers!

Ed: We didn't make you borrow money from the mob or rob a store! You really care about Nick?! Then tell me where to find her!

Tony: NO! She wouldn't be out there in Nevada all alone if it weren't for your family! You want someone to blame?! BLAME YOURSELVES!

As soon as he said it, he froze. He realized it was the only card he had and he played it.

Tony: Ed don't you dare-

Ed: Goodbye Tony.

Tony: ED! I'M THE ONE WHO'S SUPPOSED TO FIND HER! I'M HER FATHER!

Ed: So am I.

After I walk out of the circus, I go to my family and tell them; She's in Nevada.

Nick's POV

The city of games. This is a con's paradise. I would be against this after everything that's happened, but I haven't been nice in while.

I started with the classic, find the red queen. People will always fall for it. Then I went with pickpocketing drunk and high strangers. And when in Nevada, they were everywhere. I still had enough money for food and everything. I just forgot how fun and thrilling it was to be no good. It's a perk of being alone I guess. There will come a time, when you won't care about anyone but yourself. Call it selfish if you want. I call it self-love. I'm still affected by the pills I took. Sooner or later, I'm going to get more. But now, there are more important things to take care of. I just need to think now, my mother was a con, so where would a con artist hide in Nevada? Let's get my poker face on.
