Nick's POV

I woke up with the biggest pain I've ever experience. I was still dizzy and I could barely feel my lungs taking in air. My heart was the only thing I felt. And what I felt was beating. Again, again, and again. I remember us talking, her helping me realize that I'm not in the wrong, and the rest of the night, we just talked about everything that happened in our lives.

Felicia: Well, well, the princess decided to grace me with her presence I see.

Nick: My head hurts.

Felicia: Oh, those are the pills. They're strong as hell but they wear off quick.

Nick: Why does everything hurt? And why do I feel so tired?

Felicia: Kid, I'm not the one who makes 'em. I just sell 'em. Anyways, you in for some fun?

Nick: I just woke up.

Felicia: Ugh, freaking millennial. C'mon! Live your life!

Nick: Ok! Fine! Just stop yelling!

Felicia: Excellent! Get dressed. I'll fill you in on the way.

Jeremy's POV

She's in Nevada. That's what I've been hearing for the past 3 days. Do they know how big Nevada is? There are over 3 million people living in the state alone. If we're going to find Nick, we need to start thinking like her.

Jeremy: This is like the 100th bus stop we've been to. Nick's not here.

Molly: Yes she is. Dad told us.

Jeremy: Dad, do you have any idea how big Nevada is?

Ed: It's huge. I know. But I'm not giving up on our girl.

Liz: Your dad's right Jeremy. Don't you want to find Nick?

Jeremy: Of course I do. But we can't just, drive around with no direction. What makes you think Nick would even go to a bus stop?

Molly: Nick's here, Jeremy. I can feel it.

Jeremy: In this state or in this city?

Ed: Look, we just have to keep looking. This time, we're not giving up.

Liz: Exactly! Guys, when Nick left, it destroyed us. Molly, you didn't volunteer for anything because you couldn't find any joy in it without her. Ed, you barely smiled. Jeremy, I can't remember the last time you spent 10 minutes in the house with us. I don't blame you though. I don't blame any of you. I threw myself into my work so I could avoid facing my feelings.

Molly: Nick's family.

Jeremy: 1- I didn't mean we should stop looking. 2- I know how hard her leaving has been on us. We lost a friend, a sister and a daughter. 3- I know how you're all feeling right now. According to Molly and mom, when you found her, she wasn't doing well. And you're afraid of how Nick will be or how she'll react when we find her. 4- What I was trying to say was, we should think smarter.

Ed: What do you mean?

Jeremy: Well, Nick knew how to manipulate, con and scam people, right?

Ed: Yes.

Jeremy: Ok, so where would a kid, with almost no money, go to get some cash in Nevada?

Liz: You're right.

Ed: We were worried. And I guess we got, distracted with our thoughts.

Molly: But, we know you're worried too.

Jeremy: Why would I be worried? I came up with the plan.

Molly: You're worried that when we find Nick, either you won't trust her, or she'll be afraid that you can't trust her.
