Early Morning

"Jen, have you thought about what job you want? Or what you want to be?" Her mom asked the young girl while making breakfast. Her daughter was turning 18 soon and needed a job. She was turning into a young adult so why not get her a job? The experience would be useful for future jobs. "To be honest, no. But I have been a bit interested in your job, mom. Can I go to work with you for one day to see how your job is?" Jen asked excitedly. She was good at styling everything and everyone. She learned a lot from her mom. Whenever she saw her mom practicing different styles, she would always watch and ask questions. Her mother finished making breakfast and put the food onto a plate. Then she poured orange juice into a glass cup. "My job? Sweetie, I'm a stylist. I'm not sure if they'll let me take you but I'll ask later. But if they say yes, you better behave and actually learn how to be a stylist. Alright?" Her mom said this in a serious tone. Her mom was usually chill and pretty laid back, but when it came to serious topics, she turned into a different person. "Yes, mom. Don't worry about me being careless or irresponsible. I'm serious about finding a job." Jen smiled and started eating breakfast. "Thanks for the breakfast mom." After Jen finished eating, she washed her cup and plate then went to her room. She started styling herself as a way to practice. If she wanted her mom to take her seriously about being a stylist, she would have to impress her. Jen was determined to become a stylist, it was her dream.
