Medicine by The 1975
Short review:
This is literally my favourite song ever, so it was the perfect way to start this off. Why do I love it so much? I'm not entirely sure. It may be the beautiful guitars, Mattys soothing voice or the fact that its associated with a bittersweet memory of mine. I saw The 1975 in January 2019, and I brought the girl I love with me. Shes one of my closest friends and she loves the band. When this song played, it made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world, being in the same room as one of the best bands of the past decade and one of the greatest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. However, as the song went on, I knew that she would never like me back, and that made me a little sad. But I knew I was grateful for our amazing unconditional friendship that will never fade no matter the odds. Whenever I hear this song, it brings me back to the concert, and makes me think of my first love. The message of this song can mean anything. It's for the listener to decide. Some people think it's about love, other people think it's about drugs. I think that's what makes the song so great on it's own. This is a song that is really close to my heart and personal to me, and I hope you enjoy the song.
