Hypnotised by Coldplay

Short review

This, here, is the song that started it all. It started my love for music. I discovered it on one of those NOW compilations, NOW 97 to be specific, and I was in awe of this song, and I went more and more into Coldplay and it was the first time I ever was a fan of a band, then the next year, I fell in love with The 1975 and Queen, and I picked up a guitar for the first time. Last year, I discovered way too many artists to count. 2017 was definitely the year music became my lifeline and passion, and if I hadn't heard this song, I wouldn't have been as passionate.

As a song, this thing is just gorgeous. The little tinkling noises and piano that continue throughout the entire song gives me a certain feeling, and it always brings me back all the way to my first listen of the song and the beginning to a love that would begin to play a huge part in my life. The first time I listened to it, I was like, Damn, this is gorgeous, I could listen to this for days. It completely relaxes me as well, and is on my playlist of songs to help me sleep.  The Kaleidoscope EP is a little thing that I have a lot of love for, and I'll cover another favourite of mine from it on here very soon.

I highly recommend this track, even if you are not a Coldplay fan. I didn't when I first heard it, but now I love them. I think it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life.
