Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard
Short review
How can this song be disliked? I think everyone has heard this song at some point in their life. If I was a kid in the 80s, I wouldve been blasting this in my room and just completely rocking out. This wouldve been my song. The guitar here is the star of the show. That riff that's played at the beginning of the song and between the chorus and verses is probably the best thing I've ever heard, and it just shines all the way through. It's such an iconic hard rock song, and it's just so good to listen to. I was listening to it in the car when it came on shuffle, and ever since, I haven't stopped playing it on repeat. Its becoming one of my all time favourite songs. Its stuck in my head, I've been singing it at random points at the day, I'm just pure obsessed. My favourite part of the song, along with that addictive riff, is the opening words of Step inside/Walk this way/You and me babe/Hey, hey!. I'm a sucker for some good rock, and this is one of my favourite songs in that category. Its one of those songs that you have to dance to like a psychopath and lip sync aggressively to, even if you have no idea what hes saying (me being one of those people, I'd literally be singing about traffic lights and sweets when I'm singing along to this). Its also a song that has increased my already huge love for the electric guitar. I highly recommend this masterpiece, and it should be on every playlist.
