Tannars POV
I week later

I walk up to the front of the church with my paper in hand. In front of me are two wooden boxes of death.

And an audience waiting for my speech.

"Hi. My name is Tannar. Many of you may know me. I'm Lannan's little sister. Emma's best friend."

I try to get through the speech quickly. Most of it is random memories. Finally I finish.

"Thank you."

I walked back down, but paused and placed my flowers on each of their caskets, wrapped in the papers I used.

I fell back in my seat and my mom wrapped an arm around me.

"You did great honey."

Lannans POV

I wrapped my arm tighter around Emma's waist as Tannar spoke. We watched from up on the top row of seats as everyone spoke about us.

"I wish I could just comfort them." She said.

I heard Tannars thought echo in my mind as she placed the flowers.

It was my fault...

I looked to Emma and frowned. Her face told me she heard it too.

We drifted down to Tannar as someone else spoke and I pulled a pen and paper out of thin air. I scribbled a note on the paper and said,

"We can."

I slipped under the seat and carefully put the paper in her back pocket.

"We should just do this for everyone." I said, thinking out loud.

Emma nodded, but Charlie appeared.

"Sorry, but you can't do that. I'll give you five passes. So only four more." He hands us a four pages of paper. "Bye."

"Damn. Whatever." Emma cursed at the guide.

"Ok, we can work with this. One to my parents and brothers, one to Kath and her family, so Marcus, and Jack. One to Elliot, Brodey, Nathan and Ilsa when she gets older. We have one more."

We think for a minute then Em says, "One for Fresh?"

I feel my face fall at the name. I scan the crowd and spot him in the back corner, his face in his hands. I nod.

"Yeah one for fresh."

***

We finished the notes and now we could finally go see our family. We rushed through the gates and were embraced in a warm, heavenly hug.

Kath's POV

I spot a paper on my bed and frown in confusion. I take off my shirt and pants before slipping into pajamas and unfolding the page.

To, Kath, Marcus, and Jack.

Kath,
You were one of my best friends and have gotten me through so much over the years. I wish we had more time together, but for now I will see you later my friend.
