"alright, let's think smart about this." luna paced back and forth.

leah, luna's sister maddie, and her friend lilia were sitting on her bed.

"luna," maddie stood up, "is this the right way to handle this? i mean, you're sixteen, you should know shading someone publicly isn't okay."

luna scoffed, "if you disagree with my idea, you can leave." luna told her. maddie rolled her eyes and happily got up.

"but, just to let you know, i will tell mom about your little date night." luna threatened.

maddie turned to face her, "you wouldn't dare!" she whisper shouted.

"i wouldn't?" luna raised her eyebrows.

maddie groaned and walked back over to the bed.

"okay! so, how should we do this. we need him losing followers left and right, okay?" luna asked sternly.

they all nodded.

"you can hack his instagram." lilia suggested.

"nah," luna shook her head, "that's crossing the line."

"make fake dms, just like he did." maddie shrugged.

"oh come on, something better than that!" luna said.

"catfish him and leak his nudes." leah said jokingly.

luna's eyes widened, "that's a great idea!"

"no no no. luna, i was just kidding." leah said sitting up straighter.

"i wasn't." luna smiled.

"lun, you can get in a lot of trouble for that." lilia informed her.

"yolo." luna simply said and walked out of the room.

the other three girls followed her.

"luna autumn may! you will not." maddie shook her head at her younger sister.

luna rolled her eyes at maddie, "why not?"

"risk your career? because of some stupid boy on the internet?" maddie raised her eyebrows.

"hey!" luna pointed her finger at maddie, "johnny is not just some stupid boy, he's trying to ruin my career. so why don't i do the same?" luna smiled suspiciously.

"he's not trying to ruin your career. you made a comment about his music, of course, he's going to respond. what'd you expect?" lilia asked folding her arms.

"i expected him to ignore it. like every other celebrity i shade." luna shrugged.

leah sighed at her friends stupidity.

"johnny isn't just some celebrity." maddie informed her.

"yes he is," luna rolled her eyes.

"he's your age. you should know how boys your age act." maddie smiled.

"you guys don't even have to help me with this plan anymore, i'll do it all by myself." luna said cockily.

lilia, maddie, and leah exchanged looks.

"okay." they all shrugged.

"except for leah, you do have to help me, since you gave me the great idea." luna smiled.

"do i really have to? i've been in no scandals nor have i given people a reason to 'cancel' me. so, i think i'll just sit this one out." leah said shyly.

"being in scandals is fun. you'll thank me." luna smiled at her.

luna looked like she was going insane, but it's probably because, she was.

she didn't know how to handle this. she's never been called out on her bs before. she knew this feud with johnny wasn't going to end until she stopped it.

that's why she was going along with leah's plan. it made
perfect sense. johnny's career will be over, and no one would even know it's luna.

"alright," luna clapped her hands together, "let's go make a fake account and befriend him." she said happily.

and with that, leah and luna walked upstairs.
