"guess who i just had a conversation with?" luna asked maddie.
"ooo, uh, donald trump!" maddie guessed. luna furrowed her eyebrows. "what?" luna asked.
"did he have bad cell service? y'know, since he's stuck in a peach!" maddie started laughing way harder than she should've.
"my urge to punch you is high. really high." luna told her. "i don't know. who?" maddie asked.
"lauren orlando!" luna said happily. "johnny's twin?" maddie asked confused. luna nodded.
"you can't stand him, but you can stand his sister?" maddie asked. luna nodded, "two very different people."
"what'd you guys talk about?" maddie put her chin in her hand, she was intrigued.
"she wants to film a video when she arrives." luna smiled.
maddie's eyes widened, "she does?" she asked in disbelief. luna nodded eagerly.
"my reaction exactly!" luna said. maddie laughed.
"have you talked to your boy toy lately?" maddie asked.
luna groaned and rolled her eyes, "he's been to busy with char." she gagged at the nickname.
"what made you assume i was talking about johnny?" maddie asked luna.
"uh, well, y'know, we were talking about his sister. so i just put two and two together." luna smiled.
"mhm." maddie slowly nodded.
luna's phone buzzed, she got a message from lauren. shocked, well, that would be an understatement of how luna felt.
"oh," luna glanced at the oven, "would you look at the time. i need to go to charli's house." luna said grabbing her phone.
"at 11pm? didn't you already go over there today?" maddie asked confused.
"no. that wasn't me. that was," luna looked around the house, "maliboo." she said.
maddie gave her a 'how dumb do you think i am?' look. luna ignored the look and walked out of the house.
it was cold. what'd she expect, it was almost december.
she walked over to charli's house. she didn't knock, instead, she called charli.
"what's up luna?" charli said, she sounded energized.
"can you come open your front door?" luna asked.
"uh. why? did you send a murderer to come kill me? you said i had until sunrise. luna i'm sorry-." luna cut her off.
"charli, just open the door." luna said and ended the call. two minutes passed and the front door opened. luna stepped into the house and went straight to charli's room.
"hello to you too?" charli said watching her walk upstairs. charli followed her. "why are you here so late?" charli asked.
"i could ask you the same thing, charli. if that's even your name?" luna said sounding like a crazy person.
"one, i live here. two, seriously?" charli folded her arms.
"i cannot believe you!" luna whisper shouted.
"you cannot believe me? what are you talking about?" charli asked confused.
"don't act innocent. you know exactly what i'm talking about!" luna said to her.
"no. no i don't." charli folded her arms.
"yes. yes you do!" luna snapped.
charli gave her a confused and unamused look. luna rolled her eyes.
"you've had them this entire time." luna stomped her foot.
