If Frank Iero wanted something, he got it. He'd been that way since he was a child. He was brought up in a 'well off' family meaning he pretty much had whatever he wanted.
He would never share, which didn't make him very popular in the kindergarten sandbox. But he didn't care. What was his, was his only.
That was exactly how he felt about Gerard.
Some may call him possessive but Frank preferred to call it over protective. He liked to flaunt Gerard like a new car but if anyone touched him Frank would most definitely have to cut their fingers off.
He wasn't really a generous person either. He wouldn't just give his friends money, they'd have to earn it by contributing to the business.
But for some reason, when he saw Gerard he felt a burning desire to buy him absolutely everything. Frank saw Gerard as though he was some kind of princess he needed to serve.
Franks business always came first. See, his Italian family constantly called up and pestered the boy asking when they were going to get a daughter in law, or even grandkids and so Frank would explain he was married to his company.
Not that the family were aware of what the business entailed. Before the drug and weapons dealing really took off, Frank knew he would need to have his computer completely unbreakable by police officers or hackers. So him, Pete and another friend Ray created a software that made it virtually impossible for anyone to break into any files on Franks computer.
He sold the software to multiple huge companies, which is where he made some of his money. That's why nobody questioned the tattooed mans wealth.
Ray Toro was the finest hacker Frank had ever worked with. He was a wiz on the computer and could pretty much get into anyone's files with a few clicks of a button.
He started off by just downloading pirated films on people's laptops at school, before moving on to hacking the Belleville high system for test answers and then finally working with Frank.
No matter how skilled he was in hacking, Ray could never manage to get into Bert McCracken's files. It was pretty much impossible, which agitated Frank more than it probably should have. He just needed to know the bastards next move, he had to be one step ahead of him.
"He's hit another brick wall." Pete sighed down the phone.
"There has to be a way to get into them damn files." Frank whispered, careful not to wake Gerard who was sleeping next to him.
"If Ray can't do it, then no one can." Andy exclaimed in the background.
"We have the best guards staying in the house and someone always near the safe but we can't help but feel as though Berts gonna pull something." Pete admitted, sounding extremely stressed over the phone.
"That bastard is probably fuckin' watching us. He'll do something 'cos Franks not here. If I die I'll fuckin' haunt your ass, Iero." Andy spat down the phone, causing Frank to roll his eyes.
"We all know you wouldn't be killed, you'd probably just get kidnapped and tortured for information." Frank shrugged as if it was no big deal.
"Right, I think we need to-" Pete began.
"Who's gonna get tortured?" Gerard mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"I'll call you back." Frank rushed out to Pete, who sighed heavily down the phone.
"It was just a joke." The tattoo man smiled, pulling the redhead in for a hug.
"It sounded pretty serious." Gee grumbled, through a yawn.
