Carson, the Famous Curse
Carson's POV
"But that's when I met you." I said, tears staining my pale cheeks. "Can we just go home?"
"Are you sure? Don't you want to go clothes shopping since your clothes burned in the fire?"
"Sure."
{}{}{}
"Um, Clayton?" I said nervously, holding up a plain black and white striped shirt.
"Yeah?"
"How am I going to fit this on if I have these giant things on my back?"
"We can get them in your size, then cut slits on the back so you can slip your wings through, simple." He explained.
"Oh, ok!" I said happily, then picked out a ton of shirts.
{}{}{}
"Let's try this." He said as he handed the shirt to me, I walked into 'my' room and tried it on. I straightened my wings, then slid the shirt over them, then slipped it over my head.
"It works!" I yelled gladly.
"Great, now we can go places without you wearing the same shirt all the time."
"Oh shut up Clayton." I jokingly said.
"Do you want anything for dinner, because I have surprise for you after we eat."
"Um... I don't know, you pick."
"Ok, let's go to...Tullys!"
"Yay! I've always liked Tullys since they serve you popcorn before your meal and because of the games."
"Me too." We walked out to the car, then we were off.
{}{}{}
I walked through the front doors, gripping tighter to Clayton's hand.
"Nervous?"
"What if they become scared of me and kick us out?"
"They won't be scared, they'll be amazed." I sighed in relief.
"Ok." We walked through the restaurant doors, I smiled.
"Just 2... adults?" The waitress paused.
"Yes, a booth by the games please." Clayton mentioned.
"Um... I need to see my manager." She said, surprise and confusion washing over her.
"I think you might be right." I said to him. A mother and little girl stood in awe.
"Angel!" The girl yelled as she ran to me and hugged my legs.
"Katie! I'm so sorry miss, last night she wished on a star to see an angel, I guess it came true."
"Well, I'm happy to make it true," I bent down to her height, and she hugged me again. "Hey, do wanna see my wings?" I asked her gladly. She quickly nodded, people crowded around me and Clayton. I stood up, turned around, and straightened my wings out, people gasped and crowded more.
"Are you a real angel!?" Someone yelled.
"Yes, one of the rarest too, a broken angel. My left wing is broken, but I only have 4 weeks until... my soul turns into a... curse, but if I save a life and make a difference to people, then my powers will resurface." The waitress came back with a lean, tall man, at least 27.
"So, your the angel that Crystals talkin' about."
"In the flesh."
"Prove it." That pissed me off. I opened my wings fully, making myself seem giant, he stumbled backwards, gasping.
"Wow, well, are you hungry? Take a seat." He said gladly, directing us to the booth nearest to the games, but most of the time, people took videos and pictures, and signed autographs.
When things went white.

People were sitting in rows, not many though.
There was a coffin, inside... was me.
"No... No!" My whisper turning into a yell, looked around, everyone's heads hung. There was a mirror, I looked at myself, my wings were pure black, my eyes were red, and a black fog engulfed me.
"Carson, wa-was an amazing girl, she became a legend. Carson, if your listening. Hear me out, I might have been a jerk at some points, but I loved you with all my heart. This is what I think of you. The ocean is a beautiful thing, it can be calm and gentle, soothing your worries, erasing your fears. And then, when you're least expecting it, it can turn wild and raging, pulling you under, leaving you with no air. The ocean is a beautiful thing... Kind of like you."
