Visiting my rival...
19 days left, 9:18 P.M. General Hospital
No one came... I instantly panicked, I placed my hands on Claytons chest, sending power into his body. Gary tried to pry my hands off Clayton, instead, he burned his hand."What are you doing!?" Gary yelled at me, I ignored him, and sent more power into Clayton. I was starting to feel weak, and my hands trembled, but I kept on going. His heart hasn't beated yet, which petrified me. I put more power to my hands, and a light blue bubble formed around me, and a bright green one formed around Clayton, but mine had black spots, and his was pure.
My vision was getting blurry, and I was really fatigued. "Don't die on me!" I yelled, I soon found out that I was crying, but they weren't normal tears, instead... it was blood. I wiped it away and checked the machine, finally, his heart was back to normal, beating. I took my hands away and fell to the floor, exhusted from my exspence.
"Are you ok!?" Gary quesioned as he came to my aid.
"Yes, I'm fine. You?" I questioned him, and smiled. A concerned look overtook his face.
"Other than this burn, but are you sure you're ok?" I looked at his hand, it was blistered and red as crimson.
"Gary! Why didn't you tell me!? Here let me heal you."
"No, you used enough power already. I'll get one of the nurses to help me. I just... want you safe, ok?" I sadly nodded, he me gave a painful grin, showing me his pain.
"I'll get the nurse, you stay here, ok? And you can't tell me no." He silently chuckled as he got up and sat on the bed.
"Ok, I'll stay here, you can get the nurse." Gary said, gladly smiling. I turned for the door and started to run, even though I was really exhausted, I didn't want Gary's hand to hurt or blister anymore. I found one of nurses and informed her, but when she asked what had happened, I lied by saying he re-opened a wound. But when we got into the room, he wasn't there. I called down the halls for him, but he didn't respond. I asked if anyone had seen him, no one said they did. I started to get really worried, so I went into Clayton's car and drove around town. But after I got back to the hospital, he was no where to be found.
When I got back to Clayton's hospital room, there was a note on the table.
Dear Carson,
You must be worrying sick by now, and I'm sorry, but it was for your own good. I learned that being around you could jeopardize your life, that's because your... never mind, I just want to keep you safe, I'm sorry, but I don't want to be hurt or worse. Goodbye...
~ GTears streamed down my face, I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turn around to see my mother, and my sister Abbey.
"Are you ready Carson?" Mom asked, her voice blank and face motionless, except for her face smile, along with Abbey.
"What?! No! I'm not ready! I can't go! I still have 20 days!"
"19, to be exact." Said Abbey, a hint of sarcasm and happiness hid in the back of her voice. That's when I knew this wasn't them, these were hallucinations. So I walked right through them, then they disappeared. As I went for the door, a voice stopped me.
"I wouldn't go there if I were you," He laughed.
"Father, stop this, now."
"Hey, I haven't seen you in 8 years and you treat me like this?"
"I'm glad I called the police, since mom was so afraid! I'm coming to see you, the real you."
"And why would you do that? You can talk to your dad while I'm right here."
"I'm coming to talk, I'm coming to kill you. And you're not my dad, you're not my father, and you're certainly not a Baelin, anymore." I turned to the door and walked out to the parking lot. I took a deep breath and bent my knees, I looked to the sky and launched into the sky. It would take days to drive to Pentonville Prison, but with wings, at least 30 minutes.
I flew in between the skyscrapers, banking left and right. People stood and stared, pointing at me, but I was gone as soon as they saw me. But I wasn't flying for fun, to me, this is transportation.

I dropped down into the forest, which was right next to the Pentonville Prison. I checked the street in from of me, in case there were cars. And since most of my power is gone, I wouldn't be able to form a bubble to protect myself. I walked to the building, security cameras turned towards me and zoomed in, taking a closer look. I was wearing a coat, big enough to hide my wings, but I might have looked a little suspicious. They opened the gate and let me in, then I entered one of the smaller buildings. I told them my name, which is Carson Lynn Baelin, and I told them who I was visiting, who was Alan Johnson Berlin.
Next, I pasted through security, scaring a few of the guards. They checked my jacket and made me walk through a metal detector, it scared me when it beeped. They used a portable metal detector and hovered it over my body, stopping at my left wing when it started to beep.
"I have a metal plate wrapped around the center of the bone after I broke it." I told him, he didn't look too sure, but finally smiled and let me go.
Now, they made me sit in a chair as a dog was going to sniff me out, except, the dog kept barking at me, backed up against the wall, hair standing on end. He said I was ok to for me to leave, that he believed that if God brought an angel to a prison, it should be for a pretty good reason. I nodded and went the other smaller building, where they did a finger and iris scan. I grabbed a numbered ticket, #17, #11 was going up now.
Good, time to myself. I thought, except, I couldn't stop thinking about Clayton, and Gary... I brought out my phone and dialed Gary's number. After 3 rings he picked up.
"Who is this?" His voice roared with anger, I was confused, he's normally not like this.
"Its me, Carson. Gary, what did you mean by 'but it was for my own good'?"
"I-... I-I..." It sounded like he was in pain, then the sound of someone getting slapped came into audio. "G-get off the phone now, or e-else we'll c-c-come and get y-you." He sounded scared, it sounded like he was crying.
"Who's with you? Who's hurting you?!"
"Stop getting into things you can't finish, leave, now." An unfamiliar voice ordered, then the line went dead, leaving me in silence and in tears.
"Number #17!" The guard yelled, I got up and went into a room. Alan sat in a chair across from me, handcuffed to the table. He was dressed in bright orange, on his chest it said "#003158".
"Welcome, now, tell me, how did that call of yours go?" I slapped him across the face, I saw the mirror on the side of the room, my eyes were their crimson red, and my wings were pure black. Perfect timing...
Hey guys! I'm not dead! So, schools a bitch. Sorry, if your asking where I've been, well, home I guess. I had my phone taken away in November because I over slept and missed the bus. My mom is really strict. I am doing this on my Kindle, which in kind of annoying, but it's the only thing I got to work with, I hope you like this chapter, and Alexis P.
