Can you be my summer story?

The days went fast as the practice continues.

My group worked on their lines as there is only 1 week left.

And I was in the organising team doing the preparation well. But all these times I don't wanna admit it but I kind off missed him.

Due to the practice schedule we didn't had time to talk. But I could feel him looking at me every now and then.

We sneeked glances at each other. But not even once he made an effort to talk to me.
Maybe he is angry, but surely i didn't gave him any reason to be . Infact I should be the angry one.
Having a girlfriend and still flirting .

But it can be his nature too . He still thinks I'm his best friend'sister  so there is no confusion in his mind.

Hell maybe I'm the worked up one.

I saw him practice his last dialogue. And the ball dance begins.
Mr Darcy and Elizabeth dances together . They surely look good.

While dancing, our eyes met and I was shocked at first. We just looked at each other .

Why is he so damn frustrating ? It's been a week since we had talked .
He doesn't care does he ?

I excused myself and left the auditorium. I went out in the field.
Due to the practice sessions we had to be at University for extra hours .
It was also getting late.

"Hey , why are you out there "

I looked back.

And much to my surprise it was Kevin .

" Hey, I just wanted to come out for a bit ..you know air"
I waved my hands here and there . Damn I know he thinks I'm so stupid.

"Haha,  funny , I know all the play and backstage stuff is stressing you out maybe . " He said .

"Yeah , I mean no I mean kind off"
Again I did the hand think .

Atleast stop embarrasing yourself.

"I think maybe we ... he started to say

"What are you guys doing out here "
And the devil entered .

"Hey man ! Just wanted to see if she is alright " Kevin told Kristian.

"What Happened"?
He more like asked me .

As if you don't know

"Nothing I'm just tired " which wasn't complete a lie. These past days were hectic.

"Come , I'll take you home" he told me .

What? How about asking can I take you home? I'm not your baby sister so you don't need to babysit me.

Damn I wanted to shout .

No need to get worked up Karen, he wants a reaction don't give him one .

" No, I can go with Eric , thankyou" I politely declined him.

" Mind if I take you home ? " Kevin asked me .

Okay.. did he just asked me? What should I say! It would be rude but at the same time it would be strange .

"Umm , yy..."

"What are you guys doing here "?
Eric came to the rescue .

Thanks big brother .

"Nothing man !  She is feeling tired so I'm asking her if I can drop her home " Kevin said smoothly.
