When I wake up, the room is dark except for the glow of the heart monitor and the moonlight shinning through the small window to my right. All of the doctors and nurses are gone.

The room is different. They must have moved me out of the delivery room at some point. This one is a lot less covered in blood.

My memory is hazy. I remember feeling a lot of pain and seeing Finnick's screwed up face. I think I remember catching a glimpse of my son. He was covered in blood like I was.

I don't see a baby anywhere in the room, and that makes me nervous, but Finnick is here. He's asleep on a small cot pushed against the wall to the left of my hospital bed. He looks peaceful in his sleep.

I try to sit up, but a pain shoots through my abdomen, and I let out a groan.

"Annie?" says Finnick. His voice is groggy, and he looks like he's still half asleep, but he pushes himself up and stumbles to the chair next to my bed.

"Finn," I whisper. "I'm so sorry."

He takes my hand carefully as to not disturb the IV that's taped to my arm.

"Is he okay?" I ask.

He smiles wearily. "He's perfect."

I sigh with relief.

"And you're okay too," he adds

"What happened?"

"You were losing a lot of blood," he says. "By the time they got Caspian you were unconscious..."

He looks like he did before: scared and stressed.

"Hey... I'm okay now," I whisper.

"I know," he says. "I'm sorry, I just feared the worst. I thought I might lose you."

I flash him a tired smile. "You won't get rid of me that easily."

"Good," he chuckles.

"Hey, Finn?"

"Yes, love?"

"We made it."

He nods and leans forward to kiss me softly.
