Annie traces the scars on my chest as I tell her everything that happened in the Capitol.

"Are you in pain?" she asks softly. I shake my head.

"I'm sorry you have to see me like this," I sigh. She rolls her eyes and looks down at her stomach.

"I guess I gained all the weight you lost."

"You've never looked more beautiful," I assure her.

"You're just saying that because you have to."

"No," I chuckle. "I say it because I have the most beautiful wife in all of Panem."

"And I have the most handsome husband," she tells me.

"At least you used to." I mean it to be a joke, but my voice is strained.

"Finnick," she sighs, moving closer to me. Her head rests on my chest, her warmth spreading through my body. "I love you. Nothing can change that. Besides, your doctor said that you'd be back to normal in no time."

"I just wish I could be more helpful," I say, twirling a strand of her dark hair around my finger. "You shouldn't be taking care of me. It should be the other way around."

"Well, you've taken care of me most of my life, so get over it," she says and pokes me between the eyes. "Come on. Get up. We're going out."

"Out?" I ask suspiciously. "I don't know...."

"Don't worry, nobody will see you. We're just going outside. You need to work on your tan."

"Gee, thanks," I say, but she just laughs. "I think Caspian likes the sound of the waves."

"Caspian?"

"Oh..." she falters. "Sorry, that's just what I was thinking about calling him. Obviously we can talk about it, now that you're back."

"No... it's okay. I like the name," I say. She smiles softly. "I just thought that might remind you too much of... your games."

"I'm never going to forget them, Finn," she sighs. "But I wouldn't be here... we wouldn't be here if it weren't for him."

I think back to the last conversation I had with Annie's District 4 partner the night before they entered the arena. He took care of her. No matter how many sponsors I got Annie, she wouldn't have survived on her own.

"I like it," I say. "Caspian Odair."

"Finn..." I turn my head to look at her faltering smile.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?"

"Nothing," she shrugs.

"Okay..."

"I just feel like I'm dreaming." She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "What if I wake up and the bed is empty again?"

"Baby..." I sigh, but I understand how she's feeling. "Just because we're used to everything going wrong doesn't mean that we don't deserve to be happy. I like to think there's only so much bad luck we can have in a lifetime. You and I just had a rough start, so the rest should be smooth sailing from here."

"You really think that?" she asks.

I smile and shake my head. "No, but I have you. And as long as we're together I am happy."

She intertwines her fingers with mine and nuzzles my neck. "You're right. We're going to be kickass parents."

"We are going to kick so much ass," I agree, pulling her close for a kiss. "Mrs. Odair..."
