I look around the streets as I watch the fires start to build up around me as I run towards the center.

Where would Ardyn be hiding?

Could he still be by the altar?

Should I head that way?

I look towards the altar when I remember that is the way we were heading towards before I escaped.

Could he be killing Gene?

No, he wouldn't do that to me.

At least I hope he wouldn't.

I make a sharp turn and start to run towards the altar as the fires start to get bigger and bigger despite the water everywhere.

I look around when I see Ravus and Ignis sizing each other up. I hide behind a pillar as I watch them.

I look at Ignis and see his hair in his eyes, the way he used to wear it when we were teenagers.

"I know it's not the ideal situation, but looks like we might have to team up if we want to find my sister and your friend," Ravus says

Why would he want to team up with the enemy?!

I continue to watch their body language as they both make a silent agreement and head towards the easiest way to the altar.

"I know I shouldn't ask, but why is Noctis so hell-bent on getting us to give up?" Ignis asks as he looks at Ravus "The last time I saw him like this was when he found out that it was Niflheim who attack the city."

"He doesn't want to see the girl get hurt." Ravus answers

I watch as they walk out of sight before running a different way as I use my warping to close some of the distance. I finally catch sight of the altar to see a few magitek ships surrounding it. I see a figure struggling as they keep yelling before they finally give up and try to warp out of whatever they're in.

Gene!

I need to get out of here! I can't stay here if we want to save Noctis.

Luna!

I look towards Luna and almost let out another sob before turning towards trying to push the debris off of me again when I finally give up and look up towards the sky and see all of the ships.

"Damnit." I hiss

I tap my earpiece as I close my eyes.

Please work.

"Hey, Uhm, guys..." I start

"Gene, thank god you're okay!" Prompto almost yells

"Yeah. I now know for a fact that I'm not losing blood, but I might lose my legs if I can't get this debris off of me soon." I say with a wince as I try to pull myself out again

"We're on our way. We lost Noct and Specs." Gladio says

"Great. So they could be anywhere." I say as I look around when I think I see a figure a distance away

I try to grab another railing when I see a few figures in the distance but I can't place who they are.

Noctis, I hope this makes you realize what you are doing...

Ignis, I hope you find him or get us out of here soon so I can go find him...

I feel my head start to throb as I try to warp on more time before I feel myself falling the rest of the way to the ground.
