Zayn and Niall were once loved ones, until he left one direction and went straight to Gigi. Niall was heartbroken, so through the process of healing, he wrote a song, then when it reaches to Zayn, everything just goes from there.

Niall Horan

I slowly started singing, my crowd being the boys and the phone Louis was holding, recording it.

In this house of broken hearts
We made our love out of stacks of cards
And, yes, we tried, to hold on tight
'Cause we knew our love was hard to find

"Zayn, come on, please!" I begged Zayn to go on the fairs wheel with me and he finally gave in.

"Fine, but then, we get to go and play the games" he huffed and I smiled, turning towards him, grabbing his face in my hands, getting closer.

Then my mind went straight to a memory, making me close my eyes.

"I love you" he smiles and wraps his arms around my waist, looking me in the eyes.

"I love you too" closing the gap and kissing, smiling.

And our paper houses reach the stars

Why did we climb and fall so far?

"Every single time, you make a big deal out of it!! Your so insecure!!" Zayn yelled at me, making me glare at him.

"Zayn, your liking her pics, every single time she posts and you have post notifications on!! You don't even have post notifications on for me!!" I yelled back at him.

"Maybe I did wanna bang her, so what, you are lousy, you don't care about me!"

"I may not let you 'bang' me, but I love you!" A tear fell and he rolled his eyes.

"It doesn't matter"

We held our cards, built them high
But way too close to the light

"I will never leave you" he smiles and I giggled, wrapping my arms around him.

"I know, and I will never leave you either" he looks down and kisses me, before holding me tighter.

"I promise"

I can feel you slipping away

"Your to much! Your probably cheating on me with one of the boys, I don't even think I'm gay anymore, because I find Gigi so much attractive and her personality is so much better than yours!!" He hit me and yelled something that broke me. "I DONT LOVE YOU ANYMORE!!"

"If you don't love me anymore, then just leave. You've already left the band, leave me too" I whispered and he looks at me.

"Fine, I will"

I opened my eyes and a tear fell, making me quickly wipe it away and smile.

"Oh Niall" Harry stood up and hugged me, making me sigh, wrapping my arms around him.

"It hurts, it hurts so bad"

Weeks later, news was going wild about the little song I wrote making me glare at Louis.

"You shouldn't have posted that video, I didn't even say you could!!" I groaned and let my face fall on the pillow.

"I'm sorry, I thought I could put a message to someone" he looks at me, and I widened my eyes, just as Liam starts talking.

"I think he got the message" I turned around and Liam clicked the video titled, 'Zayn Malik answered about Niall Horans new song that many fans and reporters speculate to be about him.' which made me look straight at Louis before the video played.

"So Zayn, do you have any opinion on Niall Horans song that many speculate to be about you."

"Which one?"

"The one Louis Tomlinson posted, you've been tagged a lot!" The interviewer says and Zayn awkwardly chuckles making me start to bite my nails.

"Well, me and Niall ended the relationships off on a sour note and I totally understand why many think it's about me but I know he doesn't not love me anymore, or does not like me after our messy break up and I really think that it's a good song but it's probably about someone else because it's Niall and I did some horrible stuff, so if he were to write a song about me, it'd be totally different but Niall if your watching this, I'm truly, deeply, sorry" I watched Zayn sadly smile making me look at Louis and he looks back at me before I wrapped my arms around him.

"Don't cry, it looked like he truly meant that apology."

"It's not that Louis, it hurts to know after a year, that he knew what he did was messed up and. that what he did was wrong and I'm not trying to blame him for everything but I wish that he would've realized so much earlier so I could still call him mine"

"Niall, it's probably better this way" I looked at Liam and shrugged, frowning.

"Even if it is better this way, I don't want it this way"
