Ethan 20 years
It has been two years since Madeline entered the pack and Ethan found out that she was his mate. I have found my mate. Her name is Cassandra, we met one year ago at the annual ball our pack throws to strengthen all packs bonds. She is the youngest child of the Delta of the Black Sea Pack.
Kane has not met his mate yet and I can see he is getting a little bit depressed the more the time goes by.
Ethan has his hands full with Madeline and so do we. Her energy just keeps growing and the packhouse is full of mayhap when she comes and visits, but we love her so much and it is sure to say that Jean has grown a soft spot for Madeline and now calls her Maddie. I, sadly, are still being called Daisy. Still don't know how she came up with that one and you can see how the members laugh when she calls me that, but one look from me and they stop.
The pack is still confused about her presence near the alpha, but they take it that she shows gratitude towards him for saving her. No one made the connection yet that they are mates, strangely enough, because they usually catch up on stuff like this. Ethan said he will tell them soon.
The problem begins with the counsel, they are beginning to push Ethan into an arranged marriage, because they don't know he has a mate yet. The reason for that is that if they find out they will force Ethan to mark her even at a young age. It is very rare to find such a huge agegap in a werewolf community so we have no idea how to approach this and Ethan was not taking any chances.
Alpha's, if not mated early, they start to grow savage. Their mood becomes a ticking time bomb, angry all the time, more aggressive and the list goes on. Ethan is now 20 and is nearing the age where he will develop these symptoms, but we don't know if Madeleine's presence will slow the process or make his wolf go crazier, but until then, me, Kane and Jean agreed that we should take as much work as possible to keep Ethan sane.
It will be 10 more years before Madeline will know she is Ethan's mate. Ethan will be 31 by then and do we have our work cut out for us, especially when she goes to high school and boyfriends are a thing, our poor Alpha.
Luckily my brother and Madeline are good friends and he trains hard to protect her. He knows she is Ethan's mate and that he is her first line of defence should something happen.
Well I can't wait to see what will happen with our Alpha and Luna. Madeline's luna voice is seeping through from time to time, when she is really upset and mostly because she angry or sad, but only on a small ammount that only higher ups will notice. Once Ethan had to go on a bussiness trip and he explained to Madeline that he had to go she was upset and the next day she started to cry and commanded me to take her to the alpha. I almost obeyed her order, which surprised me very much. Instead I called Ethan and let him speak to her, after that she was calm, but we would start the same problem the next day till Ethan came back. He laughed when I told him about Madeline's luna voice.
As for my own mate,Cassandra, she has been acting odd lately, and I worry about her.
"Hey, Honey, what are you thinking about so deeply?", my lovely mate graces me with her presence. Her black hair is now cut into a bob, and her brown green eyes shine brighter than the moon itself. "About our Alpha and Luna, what is bothering you Cas, you look like you need to tell me something?", her eyes avert my gaze and she looks very nervous. "Well, I have something for you." She slowly walks to me and hands me a box. "A present? Did I miss my birthday day?" Dread fills me, "Don't tell me it's our anniversary." How could I forget. She laughs a little, she is perfect I couldn't ask for more. "No silly, that's a few months away." She looks very nervous while I unwrap the boks. She fiddles with her fingers while she looks closely at me. In the box I find a letter.

I love you with every fibre of my body and the happiest moment in my life was meeting you at the ball.
You have made me so happy and I am happy to say that I wanna grow old with you.
And as nervous as I am, I can't wait to start a new chapter with you.

"Go on, there is more." She courage me on. I lift the t-shirt and on it is words that shock me. "Are...Are you serious?" She smile at me, she is still nervous. On the t-shit stands, Dad tougher than a Beta's Job. "You're pregnant?" I look inside the box and see another small box. I open it and it's the pregnancy test saying positive. Immediately I hug my mate and spin her around out of joy. "I am going to be a dad! You're going to be a mom!" We laugh together and I place my hands on her stomach while looking deeply in her eyes. "Cas, now more than ever I will protect you and our little pup. I will be a great mate and the best dad I can be."
She puts her hands on my shoulders, "I know you will Daniel." She kissed me passionately pouring all her emotions into that kiss and I returned her kiss with emotions of my own.
