Alpha's Little Mate

Chapter 10

"Mad, open up!" Austin bangs the door furiously, waking me up from my sleep. In a daze I walk to open up the door for him while planning to kill him for waking me up. "Coming you stupid oaf!" Just as I reach the kitchen I scream out of pain, my head is killing me and my body feels like someone stabbing needles repeatedly on my body and only increases.
And only one thing crosses my mind. "Ethan!"

Austin

I wait for Madeline to open up, I know she will kill me, but she loves me anyway, the friendly kind of way. Ethan will kill me if she fell inlove with me.
Suddenly I hear her scream in pain and I kick the door open and follow her scent to the kitchen, she lays in pain while screaming Ethan's name. Shit! I think she is shifting and I went over to touch her but she only screamed more.
Fuck!
Maybe because she already has a mate? I have to get Ethan or else I don't know what I should do.

Madeline

Austin tries to help me, but with his touch I only scream more. It feels like I am being stabbed over and over again. My body in on fire and the pain just keep on getting worse. "Hang on Mad! Ethan is on his way!" I barely hear his voice over my own screams, but one taught crosses my mind. Ethan, I hope he comes.

Ethan

In the middle of the meeting my phone vibrates, but I ignore it. The phone rings again and I leave it to ring while I speak about logistics of our pack.
"Ethan! "
Lucy enters the room looking all frazzled with a phone in her hand. I asked her to call me by my name.
Confused as to why someone would call me through her and remembered that this is her pack and there is a phone in each pack that all Alphas and Betas has access to call in case of emergency.

Lucy

"Hello Bradford pack?" I hear one of our maids answers the phone. "I uhm sorry we are not to disturb Alpha Ethan and the rest of the Alpha's while in meeting." That caught my attention, "Olive, give me the phone please." she hands me over the phone. "Hello Lucy Bradford speaking." I hear screams in the backround and I take the phone away from my sensitive ears. "Goddess please just get me Ethan for heavens sake please!" a guy yells in my ear desparetly. "Ethan!" I hear a woman in the background scream and I rush to the conference room. I don't care if my father punishes me, they sound like they need him. I wonder if she is his mate? "Ethan!"

Ethan

"Exuse me Alphas. I need to take this call." I walk into the hall. "
Hello."
I was immediately greeted with screams and my face pales. "Ethan for goddess sake next time answer the dahm phone.." Before I could interrupt him for his manners he continues on. "Daniel, Kane and Jean is here. Madeline is in pain and none of us can touch her, she is shifting and screaming out your name. Get your ass over here!" I was mad for the way he was speaking to me but then I hear her screams and her calling out my name, my mate, and my heart just broke. "On my way."  I rush to go to my mate, my wolf is pushing me further, yelling that we need to go to our mate, "Ethan is everything oky?" Lucy calls me but I ignore her and run faster than I ever have in my life. My wolf is pushing me with more speed to make it to Madeline. Hold on Butterfly, I am coming!

Daniel

We watch as Madeline lays in pain, as a beta it kills me to not be able to help our Luna. Of all times she had to shift while Ethan was away. I have never seen Jean look more afraid than today and Austin is a wreak. The doctor said there is nothing he can give to ease her pain and he also has never seen this kind of shifting, so we are basically screwed. We all wait for Ethan, feeling that he is on his way since our wolfs are anxious. They know we have to protect her, but we don't know how, and they worry that Ethan will punish us. "My wolf is going crazy, we can feel Ethan's and Octavius's emotions through the bond. And we never felt Ethan's emotions ever." All of us agree on that, but all we can do now is wait for Ethan while Madeline screams in pain. If there was a time that my heart broke, this would be the day.

Ethan

I am near Madeline's house and already I can hear her screams which only motivates me to push myself to run faster. "Butterfly!" I rush through the broken door to find Daniel, Kane, Austin and Jean all looking helplessly at my mate. She is covered in sweat and she is more pale than usual, a sickly pale. I feel so guilty, I could've been here sooner but I didn't want to answer my phone. She looks relieved to see me. "Wolfie?" her voice is hoarse from all the screaming. "I am sorry, I am here now. Everything will be fine." I pick her up and she instantly moans from the relieve that body provides her. "I will be taking her into the forest to let her shift." They all nod in relieve as they make themselves comfortable in her living room.
I walk her to my special place in the pack and place her on the ground. She whimpers from the loss of touch, but I have to transform in my wolf to help her.

Madeline

Ethan lies me down and I whimper from the pain that is slowly coming back. Octavius's snout toutches my face as he licks me gentle. 'Easy Butterfly, it's oky I am here now don't worry.' His wolf Octavius spoke to me, my muscles relax and my breathing is now steady. We lie there for a few moment before an ugly scream comes out of my mouth. I sound like a banshee, but the pain is to much. I feel my bones break and reshape all the while Ethan is there licking and whispering soft comforting words at me and it made the pain somehow lessen.

All I know is that I want the pain to just go away.
