"Luna." My eyes snap open to see Jean and Cass before me smiling proudly. "It's time." I try not to freak out much, I just need to see Ethan and all my worries will go away.
I change into my wolf form and follow them to where Ethan and the rest of the pack will be. Ethan's black wolf is already waiting for me in the front of the crowd and the rest of the pack is behind him, also in wolf form for those who have it. I rub against him and he growls, but I call it purr. It sounds too much like a purr for me to be called a growl.  The beta and delta wolves walk forward and howles. That was mine and Ethan's que to start the hunting.
With one reassuring look from Ethan we take off.

Ethan and I already tracked a bison herd last week so we just need to follow up on that. We move swiftly between te trees, making sure we do pace ourselves for the actual hunt. I was in the lead while Ethan was just a view paces behind me for protection. We follow the tracks that would lead us to the bisons grazing place.
We come to the open field but we stay hidden, there was a herd of bison and thankfully they didn't move forbus to track them down further. We study them closely, looking for one to take down. The wind was in our favour so they couldn't smell us. The goddess was smiling on on today.
We eventually saw one that was weaker than the rest, but he was well within the group. We could still get our prey. Ethan nods and we set our plan into action. With a howl I scatter the herd while I run towards our pray. I make sure to scatter them, directing them away from the weaker bison. Ethan came from behind, steering the weak bison away from the herd. I direct my attention now to our prey, we steer it downhill. We bite the sides Ethan on the left I'm on the right.
I see a steep way down hill and I took the opportunity to latch onto his brisket. Weakening him considerable.
It was now in the open again and we circle it. Weakening him even more.
I made a mistake and the bison kicked me away from him. Ethan wanted to see if I was oky, but then it would mean that we will loose our prey and we couldn't have that. Thanks to werewolf healing I got up quick. I layed low and waited my moment. The bison was now facing away from me and I pounce on his hip, making sure to hold it in a solid grip between my teeth. Ethan took the bison's distress to his advantage and attacked his nose part and pin him to the ground.
The bison struggled to regain his standing position and slowly but surely, it eventually died from severe blood loss and shock. When Ethan was sure that the bison was dead he let go and I in return released my hold on the bison. The bison was really really big. I thank our werewolf strength or else I'm sure Ethan couldn't have carried that thing on his back.
Ethan rushes over to me and licks the blood away from my body and mouth before I helped him to put the bison on his back.
It was a long way back, we chased them farther away than we realized.
Soon enough we made it back to the pack border, the guards spots us and howls. Letting the rest of the pack know that we have arrived.
It didn't take long for the pack members to come and see what we hunted. Their eyes grew when they see the bison on Ethan's back. Bisons are incredibly hard to hunt, it usually takes three to four pack warriors. Yet here we are, hauling proudly our prey.
