The suns rays told me that it was now morning. I didn't really get much sleep, I was much to nervous and excited for today! "I can feel your excitement bubble up Butterfly." Ethan chuckles underneath me.
I loved sleeping on Ethan's chest, I sometimes wake up on top of him. "I can't help it." I rest my chin on his chest and I see his face smirking at me. "I know Butterfly." I slowly pick myself and kiss his lips and he growls in approval. His hands latched themselves onto my thighs and squeeze them. Letting out a small moan from me. The kiss didn't really get far because someone decided to knock. "Please dress up before we enter." It was Austin banging on the door. I didn't really need to dress because Ethan's shirt fits me like a dress. "It's save Austin." He and Max barges in like they own the place. "Come on Cupcake, we need to get you ready!" Max throws me over his shoulder and waves Ethan goodbye. "Max I don't think Ethan will like that the pack has a view of my ass." He immediately puts me down. "Are you excited for today?" Austin ask on my other side while we walk to wherever they lead me.

Today was a very important day, it was the day before the wedding also known as the exchanging of blood ceremony. This is a very important ceremony for an alpha couple. At the first rays of sun, the couple will be split up and they will each meditate alone to clear their mind. When the sun sets the Alpha and Luna will go hunting as a pair in wolf form. Once the animal is caught the Alpha would put the animal on its back and carry it back home with the luna following him, serving as protection so that other predators may not steal their prey.
Once the couple return home the beta and delta will accept the animal as it will be served on the wedding the next day.
The hunt shows unity and equality between the couple. Should the hunt fail it will be seen as a bad omen among the pack and that the moon goddess will not bless the pack.
After that the Luna will be taken by the beta and delta females to be cleansed in various scented water and will be dressed in a plain white dress. No make up or nothing and barefoot. The Alpha will also be taken by the beta and delta males to be scrubbed and will be dressed in white pants, barefoot no shirt.
When the moon is at its peak, the couple will present themselves to the pack.
Each pack member will smell the luna, as a way to accept her as their leader and their approval that she is fit for their alpha. When all of that is done, the Alpha will use the blood from their catch to paint the luna symbol on her forehead. He then will cut his hand, reciting the ancient language that will bind them together, he then will cut the luna's hand. He will hold her hand, mixing their blood while wrapping their hands together with a white cloth. The whole pack will howl then followed by the Luna's howl and then the Alpha's.
It's truly a very beautiful ceremony. The marking is important for every werewolf couple, but the exchange of blood is vital for an alpha couple.

Austin and Max leads me to the garden where there was a blanket and flowers scattered on it. "Well there Luna, you may meditate to your hearts content. Cass and Jean will come and fetch you when the sun begins to set." Austin and Max kiss my head and leaves. Leaving me alone to meditate. Oky Madeline you can do this!
You need to calm down, get focused, but relaxed as well. We can do this!
