Chapter 5: Calling Joe

(Seth's POV)  survivor series 2018

I sat in my locker room alone replaying the events from the last week in my head. I had messed up bad. I had neglected my best friend when she needed me most and went to my girlfriend who bitched about Rebecca the whole time. It had really pissed me off so much that I broke up with her. I felt like a complete and utter loser once again, I had no one I was alone. These past couple of months had been the worst in my life.

I wiped my eyes when I realized tears started falling.

I felt my phone vibrating next to me. I looked down expecting to see Sarah's name. She had be calling me none stop since are break up. But instead saw Joe's name. I immediately grabbed my phone and answered.

'Joe?'

'Hey Colbs are you okay?'

'Y-Yeah why wouldn't I be okay.'

'One, as soon as you answered the phone you sounded off. Two, I was just on Twitter.'

'What's on Twitter?'

'Oh god you haven't seen it.'

'Joe What are you talking about?'

'Just go look at Sarah's twitter.'

'Oh that....'

'Uce what happened?'

'Me and Sarah broke up.'

'Well I got that. But why y'all were perfect for each other.'

'She was getting on my nerves.'

'Is that all. I mean me and Galina get on each other's nerves all the time doesn't mean we get a divorce. No tell me what really happened.'

'Fine...She was talking crap about.... never mind.....'

'Uce your gonna tell me what happened eventually so don't waist our time and say it now.'

'Alright alright. Sarah was talking a bunch of crap about Becky and I don't no why but it pissed me off so much that I broke up with her.'

'You my friend are in-'

'Stop right there I no what your gonna say and it's not true!'

'Hey calm down man. What's going on your never this stressed.'

'I'm sorry just ever since you've left it's felt like my life is falling apart. You
Left, Jon turned heel, I trashed my friendship with loads of guys backstage including Becky and now I've broken up with Sarah...and...and..'

'Hey breath Uce.'

'O-Okay..'

'You good?'

'Peachy.'

'Haha, you can be sarcastic so your fine.'

'Uh huh.'

'Anyway, So honestly what's going on with you and Becks?'

'I don't know Joe, it's weird she's always been my best friend and lately we've been getting closer and it just kind of started turning into more then friendship...and I dunno I felt like I had to distance myself from her so I didn't ruin my relationship with Sarah. But as you can tell that didn't work and now I'm on my fricking own in some random city waiting for a really important match. Everything just seems to be falling apart.'

'You probably don't want to hear this right now but I think you need to talk to Becks about this. You may have gotten it off your chest by talking to me. But that's not going to do it. You need to go to the source. Like seriously what's the worse that could happen if you told Becks how you felt?'

'I guess. Thanks for the advice Joe. I really needed that. Anyway enough about my problems. How have you been?'

'Honestly, The chemotherapy really takes a toll on me. I've been exhausted. Some days I feel fine others I feel nauseous and faint. Ugh it just really sucks.'

'I'm sorry Joe. You don't deserve this. You should be here with me and Jon.'

'Thanks Uce that means a lot to me. But I believe everything happens for a reason. And this is just another thing. I'm gonna get better and be back stronger then ever.'

'I know you will.'

'Wait a sec Colbs. Yes Joelle it's Colby. Colbs you don't mind if Joelle talks with you for a sec.'

'Course I don't mind. I missed my little munchkin.'

'Uncle Colby!'

'Hey JoJo, how've you been?'

'I'm good. How are you?'

'I'm doing okay.'

Someone knocked on my door. 'Rollins your on in 20!' A producer yelled.

'JoJo I've gotta go tell your dad I'll call him back later.'

'Okay bye Uncle Colby.'

'Bye sweetheart.'

I hung up. Right now I had to get ready for my match and then I can figure out what I'm going to with Rebecca.
