fallen angel.

i asked if you broke your wings on the way down.

you grunted and explained that you had no such thing.

confusion plagued my brain as i wondered how you could not see these beautiful

glowing

broken wings sprouting from your shoulder blades.

i mean, they must ache sometimes.

the angel blood running through your veins shown like light in a dark tunnel.

but only you could be oblivious to the fact.

i questioned the man that threw you out of such a holy place as heaven.

what absolutely was he thinking?

restfully sleeping next to me, i can feel your innocence pouring out of you.

nothing could disturb you.

then i noticed the way your eyes twinkled when you laughed and i knew.

i knew the reason you were kicked out.

no person,

or angel, for matter,

could resist those eyes and that smile.

so of course they had to rid of you.

with an evil smirk and the devil in your pupils

heaven could not afford such a magnificent menace.

they had to drop you on this planet

where women lurk in the shadows,

waiting to sink their claws in you.

luckily i found you.

or,

maybe it is the other way around.
