that stupid deku runs away
probably to cry somewhere
pathetic of him but predictable
class starts but before we know it the another teacher opens the door
ugh what's it gonna be "new fundraiser" or some shit
what came out of his mouth none of us could be prepared for
"a students had jumped from the building"
the silence is broken by muttering about who
the teacher speaks up
"who?"
"Midoriya"
I sit there in shock
what do I even say or think
the stupid nerd just jumped from the building
like I told him..
I told him to do that

it's my fault..
no it's not he decided to do it
I don't think reassuring myself is going to change it
what happened has happened I can't change that
without thinking I walk outside
no one stops me of course
I turn the corner of the building
an ambulance is there
paramedics surround the body lying on the floor
blood is all over the pavement
thick dark red blood

I feel myself struggling to breathe but I step closer
his face is against the ground

the UA entrance exams are coming up
I need to train
I change, grab my headphones and go for a run
training and stopping the thoughts

*weeks later*
no one pov
today is the day of the UA entrance exam
a certain explosive blonde participating
a certain green haired ghost is watching
thinking about how different everything would be if he didn't die
'kacchan is really strong, his training has been paying off' midoriya hand been watching bakugo these past weeks
surprisingly he attended midoriyas funeral
he didn't cry but the green haired boy appreciated his presence despite how mean he was
bakugo racked up his points fairly fast
everyone was amazing he thought
a certain person caught his eyes
he had white and red hair split down yeh middle and a scar on the left side of his face
from what he could tell the half n half boy had an ice quirk
it was really powerful
he seemed to show no emotion on his face
interesting
he would keep an eye on him, he seemed intriguing
the exam ended faster than expected
everything feeling like a blur to midoriya
the students would get their results in a week, telling them if they passed or not.
Bakugo knows he will pass, he's so arrogant that he expects to win and he does.
