I'll Remember

Chapter 15

Dallas' house was...a regular mobile home...except a little too ginormous.
The inside was insanely neat and smelled like lavender for some reason.
I admired what I think was the living room, or the extra living room, who knows. It was nice.

That's when a lady entered the living room.
"Hi, Miss Pearson." Joy greeted the woman. She looked like she was about to go for a walk, looking clean and also too neat.

"Hi, Joy!" She smiled then her eyes yeeted over to me real quick.
"Oh it's Leo, welcome back!" She said excited, like I had just come back from the moon.
" Thank you, Miss Pearso--"

"Any wayyyyy," Dallas said interrupting me. "Mom, we're going to hang out downstairs, call me if you need anything." He said, while Joy pulled me over to wherever.

"Don't worry bout me sweety, just going for a walk, I'll be back in a bit." Dallas' mom said then walked to the way we came and left.

Joy's hand was still holding mine when she opened a door and we walked downstairs.

"So what exactly did we even do down here?"

"Netflix and chill." Dallas said.
"Mostly phone and chill." Joy added as we stepped into the wide and big basement.
It looked like a theater slash, arcade slash, lounge.

"Aaand," Joy trails looking around."Allot of other crap."

Wow.

"Raaaaa!"

I jumped from the not so terrifying noise, but from shock.
"Scared ya, didn't I?" A little boy said appearing out of absolutely no where, and points at Joy and me.

"Don't be a bug, Peyton." Dallas mumbled walking past us.

Somthing he also forgot to mention about to me.

Sibling?

"Hi, baby boy." Joy smiled ruffling the kids hair.

"I'm not a baby, didn't I tell you that, Mizz Valler." The kid said with to much of a baby voice, so it kinda sounded funny.

Meanwhile, there's another Raa! And another kid jumps out of nowhere in front of Dallas.
"Jesus Christ," Dallas said shook from the sudden appearance of the little girl.

"Hahaha! Pey, I gottem!" She laughs.

Siblings...

Dallas kinda just shoves the little girl out of his way, not to abusive like, and continues walking.
And I try my hardest not to laugh.

"Hi, You!" The little girl said excited and hugged my legs.

"I haven't seen you in like, foreverrrr!"
She let go of my legs and hopped in circles.

Poor kid doesn't know I'm kinda confused rn.

"Brother Dallas, told me you lost your remembrance, but you remember me don't you?" She asked looking up at me.

Oh crap.

Joy leaned over to me and whispered a name.

"Irene." I say out loud more In a question.

Irene smiles." I kew it."

"Can yall go somewhere else?" Dallas mumbled while sitting down in the couch.
"We were actually here first," Peyton said in a loud voice.

"So no, we'll stay." Irene finished for him, and yep, that's exactly what the little rascals did.

Dallas' house was fun.
I learned allot of new things that....were...old times.
We actually did allot of things together.
I like spending time with my friends even if I don't really remember crap.

"So, Dallas' house is fun as heck, or what?"

Joy asked me as we walked home together.

It was six a clock so, Joy and I decided to head home.

It's the perfect time.

" Yea, it was fun."

Just tell her.

"We have to do it again Somtimes."
She smiled and looked up to the sky.

Now, say it now.

"So...we're having a transfer?" I ask instead.

"Yup." Joy said."A girl name is Danial West, I'm gonna be showing her around tomorrow."

The rest of the walk was just that same topic.
I didn't get to say what I wanted to say.

The next day I didn't see Joy until Lunch break.

"Have you seen Joy around?" I ask Dallas when he approached me at my locker.
"No I haven't, " Dallas said right when Joy comes."Hey, guys mind if Danial eats with us?"

"Who?" Dallas asked.

"Danial," Joy repeats, that's when I see the girl standing behind Joy. She had Carmel skin, and curly long hair.
"Hi," She said in a small voice.

Dallas looked from the girl to me." Right," Joy says.

"Danial, this is Dallas, my friend," Joy said in a bored kind of way.
"And, Leo, my.." I could actually hear the pause in her voice as our eyes met.
"My boyfriend." And that was the exact answere I wanted to hear.

I sighed in relief, almost allitle to noticible.

Dallas smirked at me, but I ignored him.

"I'm Danial West."

Danial was nice. Turns out, she moved several times already and she's just going to finish school here because, she's staying with her aunt.

She's really open....

"Hey, Leo,"
Joy said to me after school. I was about to walk home with Mic.
"Wanna meet up at the track later,"

Danial was standing beside her."sure, why?"

"There's somthing on my mind."
Is all Joy gave for an answere."I'll txt you."

And with that, she walked away, with Danial, who stood there staring @ me for a few seconds, then followed Joy.

Later I went to the track early and waited for Joy.
