Today is Friday. It's 6 o'clock in the freaking morning.
I told myself, just an hour more of sleep... But apparently, I've been staring at my ceiling for the past forty-five minutes. Why? Wonderful question, I've been actually asking myself.
It's just allot of things on my mind. I legit just come to the realization that my mother is dead, and I won't ever get to see her for the rest of my life. When I woke up, I just thought I had a little brother, and a father. And as the weeks went by, I found out Joy was my girlfriend, and Mic's father died, and then I found out My mother died, also Mic and his whole situation with smoking, although he hasn't been doing it for two weeks already, which is quite something. But he has to find out about mom, sooner or later. I feel so guilty every time he mentions something about mom, and when she'll be coming back.

I don't wan't to be the one to tell him, that's for dam* sure.

I am going to be the one, unfortunately, and I'm going to be the one watching him go back to his misery all over again. He'll start smoking again.

My thoughts run through my head, and I hate to think of all this. Not to mention my Diamond problem, that I don't wan't to also think about too much.
Please just get up and get ready for your six hours of pointlessness.
I do just that. Only ten minutes after staring at the ceiling.

The day wen't by quite as usual. Except, Mary and Mic didn't walk to school with us. At first Mic just told me he wasn't going to school, for whatever reason. Then Maryland asked where Mic was, I told her he's not coming, She shrugged saying something about, If Mic wasn't going, then what would be the point in going to? I wasn't paying attention much, just admiring Diamond, like the creep I've already become.
And during school, I had Dallas by my side the whole way, except during English and Science, cause We don't share those classes together. Joy is still in my Science, and she happily ignores my existence, just like Diamond. Although Diamond is un-thawing...slowly. Dallas ditched me at one point cause he had tutoring with Camille.

"Diamond." I spoke suddenly on the way home from school. She was a little ahead of me, and her head turned in my direction behind her, "Yeah?" she asked only after hesitating. I sigh, "I get that your still angry?"
After a few seconds she shrugs, and that's it. "Um..so are you?"

"No," She answers immediately. "I mean- yes...um, sorta'"  A light blush spread across her face, Actually catching me off guard, cause...it's cute...and I'm exaggerating. Help me.
"Well, I'm sorry..again," I say.
"Urm...It's okay. I'm sorry too, actually." Diamond slows down, now walking beside me. "I was acting like, an *sshole over some small gesture."
It was definitely not... a small gesture. As a matter of fact, it's kind a big deal. For me anyway. I was about to speak, but her next words made my excitement of her actually talking to me, die too quick.
"I had to forgive you soon or later. We are friends after all."

We are friends after all.

We are friends.

Friends.

Way to get fxcking friend zoned, Leo.

I plaster a fake smile, on my face, "Yeah, friends."

To my utter relief, my house comes into view, and now I can escape the embarrassment that I somehow am managing to hide. "Glad we talked, see ya." Diamond says, chill, and goes in her direction. I nod quickly, and head my way, also walking quickly. Once I'm in my house, My face heats up so much, and I've never felt my self so irritated, and rejected. She said friends, so that's obviously how she feels towards me. I need help. At least, that's the closest we'll ever get.
"Ah fxck," I chuckle annoyed and ran a hand through my hair.
Maybe she forgot I told her I liked her.
Or she's actually friend zoning me. It's quite sad, really. I don't know why I didn't prepare myself for this....We are friends....I don't wan't us to be friends, I wan't us to be more than that... ugh, I sound so cringe it's fxcked.
A while later of facing reality, I call Dallas, of course cause I tell him everything.

"So...Diamond just want's to be friends?" Dallas asked through the phone. He's not trying to hide any of his amusement, snickering after finishing the sentence. I roll my eyes, "I guess so." And then he just burst out laughing, like this wasn't all just something I was upset about.
"Dude, I'm sorry, but I can't believe this--" He cuts himself off, legit wheezing.
"Y'know...It's not funny--"
"No no no, Leo, it's funny." He continues to laugh. Whatever, it was a mistake to tell him. I end the call, cause I didn't feel like listening to him humiliate me much longer. I let out a long frustrated sigh, and at that moment I heard the front door open. It's either Micah, or Dad whichever one, they're making a ton of noise, to just walk around. But the I realize, it's dad, whom's probably drunk...And surely when I opened my door to check, It was dad trying to get to his room. I had to help him cause, y'know.
After that, I stepped back into my room, not really wanting to call back Dallas. So instead, I just sit on my bed, contemplating how I'm going to face Diamond on Monday, or whenever I see her this weekend. If I see her. But right now, I don't wan't to cause, I'm kinda mad. With myself.

A half an hour later, There was more noises. Of course It was Dad, cause Mic disappeared. I opened my room door back up to find him holding his car keys in his hands.
"What are you doing?" I asked confused, although it's pretty obvious. "You can't drive dad, your drunk." I'm pretty sure someone brings him home, when he's like this.
"She needs my help," Is all he responded with.

Wha...?

"Who's She? what are you talking abou--"

"Leo, I need you to drive for me."
