As we sat waiting for more of Lucy's men, we began hearing footsteps. I stood and brushed myself, ready to get back and put my things away."Sounds like they're here." Dominic said, standing as well.
"Yep." I huffed. "Wait, wouldn't they fly here.. like we did?"
"Shit. You're right." He sighed looking around for the source of the noise.
"Hey!" A man shouted and the footsteps became faster, and small streams of light began bouncing in our direction.
"Oh boy, Audrey come here." Dom whispered, hiding behind a tree as the men came closer.
I rushed over to him as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Wha-"
"Sh!" He hissed, pulling me closer. His wings came out from behind him and surrounded us. "As long as you stay quiet they shouldn't be able to find us."
I nodded against his chest. We heard as the steps surrounded and the men let out exasperated huffs.
"Where the hell did they go?"
"Couldn't have been far, why don't we look around."
"Yea you're right.. wait what's that?"
I could only imagine they were looking at my bags and I glanced up to Dominic. He only shook his head at me, forcing me to keep quiet.
"Must've been some thugs or something, taking her things and running off."
"How pathetic, poor girl hasn't even been gone a week."
"Should we take this stuff ba-" they were cut off by the sound of several thumps.
"Who are you?" One of the men asked.
"That's none of your concern. Now you can either leave and forget you were here, or we kill you. Your choice." The mans voice was calm as he spoke, and I could hear the first group chuckle at him.
"We aren't going anywhere. This is evidence and we're taking it back with us."
"Second option it is then."
I heard a few muffled groans and snapping sounds followed by, "Its taken care of Dom, you can come out."
Dominic looked down at me and let go as his wings retracted.
My eyes widened at the three bodies that lay limp in front of me. These men could've had families, siblings, wives and here they were. Sprawled across the ground in odd positions. They had been warned though, it was their own fault.
No! What am I thinking?! Killing people for no reason was not okay. I needed to get out of here, it was too overwhelming.
"C-Can we please go." I mumbled, turning away from the gruesome scene.
Dom put his hand on my shoulder, grabbing my attention, and nodded.
The other men grabbed my bags and Dominic held onto me. Wings shot from all of their backs, and we were once again continuing back to Kason's.

As Dominic and I landed on the balcony, the other men fluttered around dropping my things gently beside us.
"Thank you." I smiled to them. They looked astonished at the fact that I was speaking to them, but offered small smiles and awkward waves as they took off.
"Your gonna give someone a heart attack with the way you talk so casually. Mortals are often shaking in their boots after demons come around." Dom said as he helped grab my things.
