Everyone began crowding around the door as they rushed up from their seats

"Hey just back it up guys!" Bellamy shouted with his false sense of authority.

"Come on Bellamy! Open it!" Violet pressured.

He searched her eyes for a moment and nodded turning around to grab the lever.

"Stop! The air could be toxic!" An all too familiar voice shouted coming down from the second level and pushing her way to the door. Blonde hair brushed past Violet, and Clarke Griffin beamed with a false sense of authority as well.

"If the airs toxic we're all dead anyway." Bellamy stated bluntly.

"Bellamy?" A girl with black hair and a flawless complexion questioned as she climb down the ladder and pushed her way to him. An enormous smile spread on his face as he saw her.

"My god, look how big you are." He stated pulling the girl into a hug. Violet assumed she must be his sister, a sweet reunion she thought, but she did wish someone would open the damn door already.

"What the hell are you wearing, a guard's uniform?" The girl asked, clearly annoyed.

"I borrowed it to get on the drop ship. Someone's got to keep an eye on you."

"Where's your wrist band?" Clarke budded in staring at Bellamy's wrist.

"Do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a year." The girl spat.

"No one has a brother! That's Octavia Blake the girl they found hidden in the floor!" A delinquent shouted earning a facepalm from Violet. All she wanted to do was explore the radiation-soaked planet was that too much to ask?

Octavia flinched towards them, her frail body ready to fight, but her brother held her back turning her to him. "O, O! Lets give them something else to remember you by."

"Yeah like what?" She replied annoyed and pulling herself from his grip.

"Like being the first person on the ground in a hundred years." He said raising a smile on her face.

"Boo." Murphy whispers as he grabs Violet's shoulders making her flinch. She turned around with an unimpressed look.

"You sneaking bitch." She stated causing Miller and Murphy to laugh before turning back around to watch the scene unfold in front of her.

Bellamy pulled the lever revealing trees and greenery, a shining sun, a bright blue sky, clouds and the taste of real air. Violet breathed it in quickly and a smile grew on her face as she took in her first sight of the ground.

She watched as Octavia jumped from the drop ship platform to the ground and screamed "WE'RE BACK BITCHES!"

The delinquents ran out like wild animals, Murphy and Miller sprinting away with their guy friends to explore. Violet began to run after Murphy and their friends but saw Bellamy standing at the drop ship entrance alone. She couldn't believe her eyes, they were the first people on the ground in a hundred years and he wasn't enjoying it enough.

"Stowaway!" She shouted as she ran towards him.

"Kane, what can I do for you?" He quizzed smirking down at her.

"The fuck are you doing just standing here? Let's go look around!" She said excitedly, grabbing his wrist and pulling him to the unburnt portion of the forest. They pushed through some bushes to an open mossy area. Violet took in all the colours. The purple and blue flowers on vines and yellow ones that were growing at the bottom of a huge tree.

"I could get used to this." Bellamy mumbled as he picked a purple flower and examined it. Violet turned to him and he threw it to her. "Enjoy." He said with a slight smirk growing on his face.
