Violet spotted Bellamy sitting on a log alone sharpening his knife. She walked over to him and sat close beside him. Without a word spoken she moved her red irritated wrist, where her band was once clasped, in front of him.

"This your way of pledging your loyalty to me?" He teased.

"Mostly to get back at my father, but I mean sure if that works for you." She remarked while smiling at him.

"I take it Murphy and Mbege took theirs off too."

"Yes sir."

"Who else is in your gang?" He asked.

"Gang?" Violet replied laughing "Well Atom, Jones and Roma are my other friends if that's what you meant."

"Which ones are they?"

Violet pointed out Atom and Jones who were throwing their knives at a tree. Then pointed out Roma who was flirting with some other delinquent near the dropship.

"Good to know."

"Why is that good to know?" Violet pressed.

"Well like I said before someone's gotta help me run things and from what I hear your crew has some popularity amongst the prisoners."

Violet laughed at his remark, the only reason they were 'popular' was because of the mischief they caused and the contraband they distributed throughout the Sky Box.

"Where's your sister?" Violet asks trying to change the subject.

"Looking for food with Clarke and some other kids." He answered, making it apparent he was annoyed that she left with them.

"What happened to coming down here to protect her? Can't do much of that while shes wandering around a forest with Clarke Griffin." She said in a snarky tone.

"No idea." He rolled his eyes. "She's a lot more head strong than she used to be."

Violet felt pity at that moment, the girl had been isolated her whole life, no wonder he let her go do whatever she wanted.

"That's not a bad trait to have, especially around here." Violet replied.

Bellamy clenched his jaw and cleared his throat. "I'm thinking we have a liberation party tonight." He stated, changing the topic.

"Oh, what does that entail?"

"Big fire, and I'll convince everyone to take off their wristbands."

"Sounds like fun, I'll be there." She said patting him on the back and getting up to leave.

"Whoa, where are you going?" Bellamy asked grabbing her forearm.

"I've gotta go find Miller." She said removing his hand. "I'll see you tonight." She said with a smile. He smiled back and watched her until she was out of eyesight.

The rest of her day was spent under a large oak tree catching up with her best friend Nathan Miller. He told her a lot about his cellmate Finn Collins, he seemed pretty cool and had an incredibly brilliant girlfriend Raven. He also explained his friend group to her, mainly Finn, Sterling, Drew, Monroe and Fox. As the blue sky turned dark they made their way towards camp to find the 'liberation party' promised by Bellamy. Miller placed his hand on Violet's shoulder causing her to draw her eyes away from the fire and towards him.

"I'm gonna go find Drew, you good here?" He asked she simply nodded and he walked off.

Miller hadn't changed a bit since Violet had last saw him, that was something she greatly respected him for. He still shared every unnecessary detail of a story, he still wore the same black baggy pants, grey shirt with the quarter zip, black beat up jacket and beanie. As for Violet, her look changed a lot since she roomed with Nathan.

She currently wore a pair of black cargo pants and beat up black boots, a grey long sleeve and a jean jacket with white fur on the inside.

Violet walked over to the crowd, pushing her way through the wild teens. She stood directly in front of the fire taking in its warmth. A hand gently brushed past one side of her back to the other and Bellamy appeared next to her.

"You decided to show up." He said with a sarcastic tone.

"I was just about to head out, there's no booze and no food! You call this a party?" She asked seemingly serious. The grin on Bellamy's face dropped. "Relax Blake I just teasing you. How many wristbands have we gotten?"

"16 at the moment but your buddy Murphy is doing a fine job gathering volunteers up." He replied pointing towards Murphy prying off
a girls band, then throwing it in the fire, followed by cheers. "Who's next!?" He shouted and the crowd grew louder.

"I must say I am impressed with you." She said pricking her finger into the middle of his chest. He grinned looking down at her, before he could reply his eyes were drawn to Wells Jaha approaching and he moved Violet behind himself then walked to meet Wells.

"What the hell are you doing?" Wells asked in utter shock.

"We're liberating ourselves. What does it look like?"

"It looks like you're trying to get us all killed. The communication system is dead. These wristbands are all we got. Take them off, and the Ark will think we're dying, that it's not safe for them to follow." Wells explained to the settling crowed.

"That's the point, Chancellor. We can take care of ourselves, can't we?" Bellamy shouted receiving a large hail of support back.

"You think this is a game? Those aren't just our friends and our parents up there. They're our farmers, our doctors, our engineers. I don't care what he tells you. We won't survive here on our own, and besides, if it really is safe, how could you not want the rest of our people to come down?" Wells compelled, for a moment Violet almost felt as though he had won the delinquents over.

"My people already are down. Those people locked my people up." Bellamy shouted winning cheers of support. "Those people killed my mother for the crime of having a second child. Your father did that." He said in a slightly lower tone.

It always hurt Violet to hear of how other kids parents were killed for incredibly stupid reasons since she could so easily relate to it.

"My father didn't write the laws."

"No. He enforced them, but not anymore, not here. Here, there are no laws." Bellamy said riling up the whole crowd. "Here, we do whatever the hell we want whenever the hell we want. Now, you don't have to like it, Wells. You can even try to stop it or change it, kill me. You know why? Whatever the hell we want." Bellamy stated with no fear or uncertainty in his voice.

"Whatever the hell we want!" Murphy shouted.

"Whatever the hell we want!" Violet shouted in support, now creating a chant from the crowd.

She moved over to Murphy and jumped around chanting with the rest of the delinquents as it began to rain. To a group of people who had never felt rain before this was by far one of the coolest experiences of their lives. Violet spread her arms out and spun around feeling the cold wet touch of the sky. Murphy and the rest of her friends laughs rang around her as they jumped around in the rain.

"This is the best day of my life." Violet shouted to Murphy.

It truly had felt like it, she was finally free and feeling the earth's elements for the first time. It was an experience she never dreamt the ability to have.

Murphy laughed happily pulling her into a hug and they followed after the rest of the delinquents taking shelter for the night in the ship. It didn't take long for both of them to fall asleep, Violet leaned her head of Murphys shoulder and his head leaned on the wall next to him.
