------------
I felt brightness shining on my face.
Whatever it was, it was annoying the hell out of me. And where was I? I slowly turned away from the light, nudging something warm as I did. I peeked open an eye to see a very bare chested Jackson with his arm around me sleeping.
And it was then I realized I too was very bare. I looked under the blanket and back up, glancing around.
Flashes of last night rose up into my head and I smiled a little, touching my shoulders and lips. Wow.
I shifted a little and a pain shot through my...lower areas. I winced and decided to stay still until Jackson wakes up so he can carry me to the bathroom. I wasn't gonna move.
And I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
For an hour.
Finally I heard Jackson yawn, and shifted a little. He opened his eyes, catching me staring, and grinned at me.
I smiled back and watched as he leaned up onto his elbow and studied my face. "Morning, beautiful."
"Morning." I blush and smile.
"Do you remember last night?" he asks, taking a strand of my hair from over my shoulder. His fingers brushed the skin of my back lightly, making me bite my lip.
"Of course," I replied evenly, my cheeks growing hotter each time I thought about it.
"It was," Jackson says, thinking, "amazing."
"Amazing," I agreed with a giggle.
He grins, pinning me down to the bed in one swift movement. He leaned down and kissed my nose, making me giggle again.
"I love your laugh," he murmured, pushing a stray piece of hair away from my eyes.
I smiled again. I couldn't help it. "I love my laugh, too."
"Getting cocky are we?" he asks, kissing my neck.
I roll my eyes, though I was affected by the little kiss. "I'm just saying. My laugh is an angels laugh."
"I don't disagree with that, Butterfly."
He rolled off after a long kiss and propped up on his elbow again to look at me. "What do you feel like doing today?"
I thought for a moment, then smiled. "Want to go into town maybe?"
He flashed his perfect white teeth and said, "Anything you want. But I have plans for you and I tonight."
I frowned. "Oh really?"
"Oh, yes really." He nods, love glittering in his eyes.
"Which is what?" I purr, edging closer to him. I'll get him to tell me.
He leaned down and kissed my shoulder and up my neck. "That's a secret, love."
"Come on," I whined, pulling away. "Please?"
He chuckled. "No."
"Why?"
"Because it's a surprise, and it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you."
I groan and, forgetting my nakedness, threw the nice warm covers off of me. I limp to the bathroom as he stared at my face, his lips in a smile.
"I'm taking a shower," I announce, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around me.
"I can join you if you want," he suggested slyly.
"Oh no, buddy," I said, pointing to him. "I'm mad at you?"
"What for?" he groaned.
"For keeping secrets. We've been married one day." I tried to keep a straight face and look angry.
"Oh, come on, Faye," Jackson said, throwing his head back in frustration. "It's a surprise for you."
"Mmhmm." I put my hands on my hips for affect.
"Are you going to be difficult all day?" he groaned, looking up at me.
With a smirk, and a wink, I turned on my heel in a sassy way and shut the door. I locked it.
I heard him mumble from outside and grin to myself.
----
I showered and got ready quickly, throwing on a pair of nice light shorts and a white tank-top with the straps that go around your neck and shows the upper-back. I added some eyeliner and lip gloss and tied my hair up into a bun and braided long strands and tied them to the bun so that I had two long braids going down the side of my head on top the other layers of hair.
I walked out and wink at Jackson on the bed, who was waiting ever so patiently by reading a book, and went downstairs.
I go into the living room, humming, and make my way to the TV. I grab the remote and turn it on, leaning back against the couch and watching the Hawaii news and forecast.
The day was gonna be pretty warm, with very few clouds, which was good.
Pretty soon Jackson walked down the stairs dressed and showered. I got up and kissed him in greeting and said, "So, wanna eat breakfast here or out in town?"
"Town." He grinned.
"Town it is." I grabbed my money, phone, credit card, drivers license, and my keys and put them in my small light over the shoulder purse. I put on my nice flats and we walked out of the house.
As he pulled away from the house, he asks, "You seem pretty happy."
"Yep," I chirp, looking ahead gleefully.
The car turned, then was on the trail towards the road. "I thought you'd be a little hysteric."
"For what?" I turn my head to him now, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know. The marriage was fast, and then last night.."
"Are you saying I should be mad at you?" I ask slowly.
"Well, no. In a way, kind of."
"Why on earth would I be mad?" I asked, getting somewhat irritated. Did he not enjoy last night?
"Because it all happened so soon," Jackson tells me, glancing from me to the trail. Eighteen was not that young! I should be in college right now.
"So," I said suspiciously, "you're saying I shouldn't of been happy about marrying the one I love and then having last night, was what, bad?"
"No," he said quickly. "It's just..weird."
"Weird." I stare at him.
"Faye, I love you," he said, sighing. He stopped the car and leaned back against the seat. "But all the shit that was going on, I'm surprised you're still sane."
I laugh a little. "Me too, Jackson. But I don't regret it, okay? I married you because I loved you. If it had been a marriage where I did not love you I would've refused to be anywhere near you, much less talk to you. Don't doubt that I love you okay?"
He smiled, nodding. "I won't. I'm just making sure you are doing what you think you want."
"I don't think I want this," I admitted. "I know I want it."

Short I know. I'll try to post again when I can!
Until next time, lovelies!
