They try to steer you away from your course
The world wants to see you crash and burn
Amongst the road of sorrow you mourn
Mistakes are made and lessons are learned
They will attempt to kill your inspiration
Live to achieve your expectations
You need no explanations

But the light will cleanse your spirit
From the pain you inherit
The pain is worth the battles after the victory
You could be anything you set out to be
All you have to do is believe in your dreams
