Karin woke up early at dawn. It was dark, the purple-like-sky designed with bright, dancing, stars seemed comforting her. She began to undress her pajamas and hop unto her training gear. After washing her face to keep her awake, brushing her teeth, and putting on her shoes, she grabbed a sandwich she made the night before and left the house. Not forgetting to lock it behind.
Dragging herself towards the training ground, she had her guards up knowing it's still dark and only the guards and those who stayed up all night drinking with their friends are up in the village.
She finished her sandwich and drank some water at the nearby lake. She stretched for a while to warm up her body before closing her eyes to take out some kunai. She took a deep breath not minding the pair of eyes watching her and jumped high before throwing the kunai and before it could land, she took another set and threw it into the air, hitting the previously thrown one's to hit the targets that were placed on the trees. The second set of kunai she threw hit the bottom targets.
Still feeling the familiar presence, she opened her eyes only to be met by a pair of onyx and red, Sharingan eyes at the top of the tree where one of the targets were placed. She frowned.
"Kakashi," she muttered under her breath.
"That was impressive. I haven't seen that move for years," he said.
"I saw my brother do that before he passed," she said calmly. Taking a step towards all the kunai she threw, gathering them for more practice.
"Really now, I thought Itachi was the one who invented that move?"
"They grew up together, no wonder."
"I could take that."
She glared at the silver-haired jounin who was obviously watching her train.
"Why did you come here?"
"To watch you."
"Creep."
Kakashi sighed in frustration. He hopped down the tree and took a step towards her, not wanting to scare her and call him names any further.
"What do I have to do for you to stop making assumptions of me?"
But she stood silent, still glaring at him. He had guessed she could attack anytime the moment he triggers her so he cautiously, quietly, made a plan to get her trust.
"Okay," he started, "how about I treat you later at lunch?" he smiled trying to be friendly.
Karin squinted her eyes, still glaring at the latter.
"Well?" He waited for her answer.
"No," she said firmly and walked away to go further into the training grounds, leaving Kakashi.
He watched her walk away for the second time and thought he had just become a stalker and thinking about it sends shivers on his spine. 'I really am a creep.'
After a long training session with herself and understanding her nature more and true power, Karin sat under the tree for shade and closed her eyes to rest.
Kakashi, on the other hand, gathered his students, Naruto and Sakura to the training ground to furthermore master the essence of teamwork.
"Sensei," Naruto said in his usual loud tone.
"Yes, Naruto" Kakashi said not taking his eyes off the book.
Distracted from what he was going to say with Kakashi's book, he went near his sensei and closely read the title of the book.
"'Why did I have to love you?', eh?" Said Naruto.
"Huh?" Sakura turned her head towards Naruto who's eyeing the book and caught a glimpse of Kakashi turning red. "What was that again, Naruto?"
