Chapter Six

As Shadow and Sonic lied down in bed and slept, Shadow couldn't think of anything else except for the blue head on his chest and the soft ears that twitched as they listened to the beat of his over-excited heart. Shadow watched Sonic all night and smiled as Sonic grabbed the ebony hedgehog's arm.

In the morning when Sonic woke up, he was surprised to find Shadow running his fingers along his back quills. Sonic smiled and kissed Shadow tenderly.

"So Shadsy? What are we gonna do today?"

Shadow steched and yawned saying, "I don't know. Anything you wanna do?" Sonic blushed a little as he replied, "Well, I like dancing with you..." Shadow smiled and pulled Sonic to his feet.

"Well then, let's dance."

Sonic shifted his weight. "I need music to dance..." Shadow took out his i-pod. He put on a song. Sonic smiled as they began to dance. Sonic let the words fill his ears and the emotions fill his heart and he began to sing along.

"We were both young when I first saw you.

I close my eyes and the flashback starts,

I'm standing there,

On a balcony in summer air.

I see the lights,

See the party,

The ball gowns,

I see you make your way through the crowd and say "Hello,".

Little did I know,

That you were Romeo,

You were throwing pebbles,

And my daddy said "Stay away from Juliet."

And I was crying on the staircase beggin you, "Please don't go."

"Romeo, take me somwhere we can be alone.

All there's left to do is run.

So I sneak out to the garden to see you,

We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew.

Escape this town for a little while.

And my daddy said "Stay away from Juliet."
