Ashen's POV:

I stood in the middle of the dust crater formed by my landing, the embers from my armour would've been the only thing visible in the dust of the landing. I pulled out my estus flask and drank, restoring my vitality to full. I slowly walked from the crater, my sword in hand, and into the forest before me. My ember coloured eyes scanned the forest through my visor, searching for any Grimm.

I walked for about three minutes before I came across the first Grimm since I was at the stream. It was a large bear-like creature whose back had several white spikes jutting out, its claws were bone white and its two red eyes gleamed through its mask. It roared and charged forward, most likely intending to slash my chest.

Moving quickly I rolled into the attack and dodged the claws easily. As I came to a stop beside it I swung my coiled blade and opened the contents of its stomach. Nothing came out as it died from the wound.

I kept walking forward, towards where I knew the artefacts were. I walked on and on for about 10 minutes, killing anything in my way with ease. I eventually came to the edge of the treeline that leads to a small clearing. I looked out of the tree line and my eyes opened comically as I witnessed the scene before me unfold.

I noticed that Ruby was falling from the sky, having seemingly ridden on a large flying Grimm, and get caught by yang. I watched as a girl with pink hair and a strange weapon with a large canister in the centre rode a Grimm into the clearing. I saw another girl with red hair and spartan style armour running away from a large, scorpion-like Grimm. I looked into the air once again as I spotted the white dress princess falling.

I quickly went into action. I ran into the clearing, much to everyone surprise, at an insane speed. As I ran, I summoned a Great lighting spear in my left hand and dissipated my coiled straight sword. I jumped, making the ground crack from the force, and grabbed the girl in white with my free hand. As I grabbed her, I twisted my body sideways and hurled the spear of energy from my hand straight into the large scorpion's armoured face.

I landed in a superhero pose, making a light crater and causing dust to billow from me. I stood and let go of the white dress girl, looking over tot he group of friends that were watching the events unfold before them. I noticed that each one of them was standing with mouths agape at my display of power. They all snapped out of it as the giant bird-like Grimm screeched.

I looked at the monster in annoyance and came up with an idea. I resummoned my sword and held it straight up in front of my chest. I swung it to my side and I burst into flames. Around me, a tempest of flame spiralled upwards. Needless to say that all spectators, including Ozpin and Glynda, looked on with both horror and awe.

No one's POV:

The giant tempest of flame that surrounded Ashen caused a wave of heat to smash against the group of onlookers. They all covered their faces, excluding Glynda and Ozpin at their distance, and felt their throats dry up from the sheer heat. The tempest blew out suddenly and dissipated. Ashen now stood in a blackened circle of blackened earth, and his form was truly godly.

His lightly charred armour was now glowing brightly with flames, his helmet was adorned with a crown made of flame. The ragged clothing on his back had extended and become a brightly burning cape that fluttered around him. His armour had reshaped into that of a king. Both shoulders were covered by the same plated pattern, his chest had scales running down it and his leggings were patterned with stripes and zig-zags.

In his right hand, there was no longer his straight sword. Instead, he held a long blade that was made of four individual strips of fiercely burning and smouldering iron. The four pieces flowed around each other, creating the illusion of a single broadsword blade, each one merging at the tip.
