No one's POV: with Ashen
Ashen walked through the halls of the prestigious Beacon Academy, on his way to Headmaster Ozpin's office. He had been called to see Ozpin completely out of the blue, and to be honest, it almost worried him. Ashen arrived at the elevator, which he often stared at dubiously, and took it straight to the office at the top o the centre tower of Beacon.
The doors of the elevator opened to reveal the clock-like room that was Ozpins office. Ashen walked up tot he desk and watched as Ozpin spun around to face him from the other side of the desk. "Hello, Ashen," Ozpin said, "Why don't you take a seat and we can get right to the point of why you are here."
Ashen nodded and took a seat, waiting for Ozpin's explanation. "I'll be straightforward with this, Ashen," Ozpin said, "I need you to go on a mission." Ozpins request gave Ashen a little shock, a mission? Why wouldn't he ask a team of graduates or an actual hunter? "I cans ee you are a bit shocked and thinking on this, Ashen, but there are currently some...extenuating, circumstances." Ozpin continues, "You see, the mission I want you to go on is a mission to find someone and bring them here, however, they are quite stubborn. Add on the fact that they seem to have a semblance to create fire, they are quite the powerful opponent and I need to ask them some question about a certain... item, they have."
Ashen nodded and said, "Very well, I'll accept this mission, although, it would be nice to know who I am looking for and what you have on them." Ozpin nodded and smiled in thanks, he then said, "The person you are going to find is an elderly man by the name of Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto. Don't let their appearance fool you though, they look like an old man, but they have defeated every hunter after them with apparent ease."
Ozpin continued with, "We know that his semblance has something to do with fire and controlling it, hence why I asked you to take on this mission, but we haven't got anything else. I did a search using my contacts to try and find information on him but he was like you, there is absolutely nothing about him anywhere."
Ashen gave a thoughtful nod and asked, "When do I head out?" Ozpin smiled and replied with, "You'll leave tomorrow morning, for the rest of today keep up with your classes. I wish you luck." Ashen stood and left the office through the elevator.
Timeskip: later that day, Port's class
Ashen sat in the back of one Professor Port's class. The professor was a burly man, with a white moustache the stretched over from his nose to the sides of his cheeks. Ashen wasn't paying much heed to the class, it wasn't much of a class anyway.
Instead, Ashen's attention was focused on the mission that had been presented to him. Ashen wanted to know more of this mystery man. He was old and frail, Ashen knew this thanks to a picture Ozpin had sent him a little earlier. The man truly didn't look like a threat at all, which meant either Ashen was wrong about him or his figured semblance must be very powerful.
Ozpin had told Ashen not to underestimate the old man by his looks. Ashen decided the earlier option was probably best of him to assume, he didn't want to take any chances. It honestly wouldn't be the first time he underestimated something based on its looks, bloody mimics. Learning his lesson, Ashen made a mental note to be prepared for anything.
Ashen snapped from his daze once Port brought out a metal cage. Port asked the class, "Now, does anyone here believe themselves to be a true huntress or hunter in training?" Ashen looked down to see the now named Weiss raise her hand. Ashen still preferred his nickname, Snowy.
Weiss walked out of class to go get prepared. When she returned, she was in her signature white dress and held her long, thin rapier in her right hand, the dust canisters spun a little before resting on the white one. Weiss took a duelist stance and Port opened the cage.
