SoC's POV:

I was currently walking through the dense thicket of the now named Emerald Forest with both Glynda Goodwitch and the man Ozpin. They had said something about a mobile vehicle named a Bullhead? I believe that was its name.

In all honesty, I was amazed at how easily Ozpin had accepted my earlier statement of my being from another world. I had explained to them how I had a long battle in my world that ended with my death, only to reawaken here, in this new world. I left out the part of me being the guardian of the will of our existence though.

The woman was still sceptical though, and I couldn't blame her. If someone had appeared before me and told me they were from a different universe, I probably would've laughed my heart out at them.

After about twenty minutes of walking, we left the tree line and entered a clearing. I looked around and in the centre of the clearing, I saw a shocking creature! It was a large beast, entirely coated with metal armour. It had two wings with strange cylinders and a large open hole in the middle of its centre body piece.

I drew my blade and inquired, "What in Gwyn's name is that?" with a deathly voice. Glynda baulked at me whilst Ozpin simply chuckled lightly. "That, my fiery friend, is a Bullhead." Stated Ozpin. I looked at him with wide eyes, then squinted at him in suspicion.

"come on now, I need to return to my academy to prepare for tomorrow's induction ceremony," Ozpin stated as he began strolling to the Bullhead. I slowly sheathed my coiled sword and began to steadily make my way to the flying machine as Ozpin earlier stated. I never let my guard down.

I reached the entrance to the bowls of the machine and stepped onto the dull metal. I stood on the surface of the innards of the machine, and then it lurched upwards. I stumbled a bit as I felt the machine of metal moving. it feels... sort of like an elevator... I suddenly felt a bit more fear seep into me, remembering the horrid experience I'd had with elevators in my world. I slowly turned around to look out of the machine, only to see nothing but clouds in the sky! I looked down and began staring in amazement, it was truly a flying machine!

I heard Ozpin give a light chuckle at my amazement, but I couldn't care less. This world, I thought, is going to be lots of fun.

Still SoC's POV:

We had arrived at the academia Ozpin called Beacon ten minutes ago, and we were currently standing in a tall tower with Ozpins office at the peak. The room was set up like an office, with glass panes revealing cogs and gears rotating. I stood before Ozpin and said, "I seem to recall you mentioned an offer to mine self earlier? I would like to hear this offer of yours."

He smiled and replied, "of course." he stood, coffee in hand, and walked to the window and looked out over the front of the school. "My offer is simple... I wish for you to attend Beacon." He said, turning to face me. of course, I thought. May as well see what the deal will entail I reasoned. "What shall this deal entail?" I enquired.

Ozpin smiled, "You will attend the entrance ceremony tomorrow, take part in the induction test the next day, and then attend this academy as a student," he replied, "I believe it would be beneficial to both parties involved, you will be able to expand your knowledge on this world and its workings, whilst we also gain knowledge of another worlds arts and crafts." He finished with a small smile.

For a moment I considered the proposition, it was, all things considered, a fair deal. I would gain free accommodation, education in this world and have a chance to integrate others with my new age. After a minute of consideration, I decided, "very well, I accept thine offer." I bowed.

Ozpin's POV:

I heaved a sigh of relief. He accepted I thought. It was a weight off of my shoulders, to have someone this powerful would make him a great ally. I stood from behind my desk and held out my hand to shake his, "Well then," I said, "welcome to Beacon." The teen reached out and shook my hand with his giant one.

"I'll have Glynda lead you to your quarters now," I said. I pushed my pager and asked Glynda to come up and lead the boy to his new living quarters. "Ah, I almost forgot" I called out, "what should I register you as? I can't have a student with no name." He seemed to think for a moment before he replied, "Call me, Ashen Ember."

Time Skip to the next morning (brought to you by chibi Ashen thinking of names)

No one's POV:

Ashen lay in his new bed, staring up at the white roof. He wore simple clothes, that had been far too hard to get into for him. He had gone to sleep at about ten o'clock last night and woken up, having spent a full hour taking his armour off and putting his clothes on.

Needless to say, he felt very sleep deprived and it was a VERY new experience for him. Ashen finally gave in, he got up from his blankets and walked to his rooms personal bathroom past the stand that held his armour, though strangely his sword was missing, and through the kitchen. He walked in and looked at himself in the mirror.

His grey hair was badly ruffled from his night, his eyes were droopy and he truly looked like he had experienced a night through the wringer. Slowly he got out of his plain black pyjamas and turned the shower on.

After a long twenty-minute shower, he got out and dried himself, grab the civilian clothes provided to him and got dressed. He wore a dull red hoodie with a black shirt underneath and grey shorts. HE then went to the mirror again and began to style his hair. He styled his hair in a small braid at the back with the rest flowing towards the braid in linear lines. He looked into his reflections yellow eyes.

He walked out the door to his room and set off for the docks, feeling slightly rejuvenated having had a shower to wake him up. As he got closer to the front entrance of BEacon, he suddenly felt the ground shake. He stayed still as this happen, and once it subsided, he ran to the entrance, a pyre of flames shot from his hand and he had suddenly materialised his sword.

When he arrived at the scene, his only thought was, What the?
