No one's POV:

Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto. He was many things, and being very patient was one of these things. His patience, however, was currently wearing thin at the group before him. He had arrived at Beacon Academy with Ashen and was mildly surprised when he was offered a teaching position and a place to stay. It was quite a good offer, all things considered. He would get accommodation, free food and he was able to trach youngsters.

He had not, however, expected the people for him to be teaching to be this loud, obnoxious and annoying. He had entered his new classroom, named Techniques, for the first time and seen students doing all kinds of things. The only students to be calm were a black-haired girl with a twitching bow, a white-haired brat and the Ashen boy.

Yamamoto had finally had enough of the classes antics, and slammed his wooden cane onto the hard floor, forming a slight crater. As he did this, he also released his spiritual energy in the form of intense pressure. The class instantly went quiet as the massive weight slammed into their shoulders. The only one not affected was Ashen.

Yamamoto released his pressure and the entire class gasped. Yamamoto spoke up and said, "If you would all kindly take your seats now, I would be much obliged." The class simply nodded and returned to their seats. Yamamoto began his class by asking, "Now, today is going to be a unique lesson for you all. We are going to a practice arena where I will determine each of your skills. After which, you will all receive some type of training schedule for me and I will begin to teach you some techniques used by.... my people."

The students seemed confused but accepted the reasoning and explanation. They all walked from the classroom, following Yamamoto. They arrived at a vacant arena, the students getting excited about what kind of test they might be doing and chatting amongst themselves. The arena was a large, circular pit made of grey stones. It had seating around the entire edge and two entrances for combatants on the arena level. There was a slightly elevated fighting stage on the ground floor and a different coloured outer ring showing the ring out point.

Yamamoto turned to his class when they were all seated at one side of the arena and said, "Today I will personally determining your skill levels. To do such a thing, you will each battle me in one on one combat. Understood?" The class seemed shocked by the revelation that they'd be fighting an elderly man, all except for Ashen. Yamamoto slammed his cane down to silence the now loudly chatting students and continued, "You are to go equip your equipment. This lesson will be one on one against me and our next lesson will be your teams against me."

The class suddenly erupted, saying protests against a four on one match next lesson, but a little pressure from Yamamoto silenced them. "Now," The elderly man said, "All of you are to go and equip you fighting gear. Go!" Yamamoto finished by shooing them off. The students all left to go and equip their armour. Once again, however, Ashen did not move. He was instead surrounded by what seemed to be ash with glowing embers spread amongst it. When the ash disappeared, he was clad in the armour Yamamoto had first seen him in, it was quite an interesting skill.

The rest of the class returned and Yamamoto decided who he would take on, "You there, the girl in red, you're first." The girl seemed surprised and asked, "Me?" Whilst pointing to herself. Yamamoto nodded and suddenly vanished in a flash. He appeared in the centre of the arena and said, "Hurry along, we don't have all day." The girl looked agape at the Yamamoto's speed but hurried down herself.

She jumped over the edge of the arena and did a barrel roll onto her feet, now wielding a red rectangle with a smaller piece coming out the end at her shoulder and a small hole pointed at Yamamoto. There was also what seemed to be a red stick piece out one side she was holding. Yamamoto slammed his cane down and yelled: "BEGIN!"
