Kyle Walter from McCook, Nebraska moved to Eugene, Oregon after getting married to his first wife Kaylene Earl and welcomed a son Kyle Jr. in 1979. A year later, a daughter Cheyenne was born. He divorced Kaylene in 1984 and was jailed until 1988. That same year, he met Wendy Keller while he was working with his cousin Mike. In 1989, Kyle and Wendy were married and they had two sons, Jody (b. 1990) and Matt (b. 1992). In 1993, Kyle lost his own sister Kammie of cancer at age 30.

In 2010, Wendy was diagnosed with lung cancer and both legs were amputated. On April 8, 2013, Wendy died a month before her 50th birthday. Kyle is still widowed until he met Marla Medders, a mother of two, Faron and Natalee Reeves from a previous marriage in 2015. Marla's husband Marty Reeves was killed of the car accident with his brother Roger in 2014.

On April 14, 2017, Kyle and Marla were married. Kyle has two homes, one in Eugene, and one in Bismarck, North Dakota. Marla has three homes also in Eugene, Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia.

Kyle Jr. and his wife Christen (from Prineville, Oregon) had three children, twin sons L.D. and Trey and a daughter Norie, and they were living in Bismarck. Kyle was the assistant principal for Century High School and was helping out with Wayne Osmond's grandson Paul.

Cheyenne and her husband Randy Whitley (from Portland, Oregon) had seven children, six sons, Jonah, River, Hunter, Justin, Blake and Hudson and a daughter Stevie, and they were living in Walterville, Oregon.

Jody and his wife Darlia (from Dallas, Oregon) had five children and one on the way, Mara, Ellie, Axyl, Hal and Maeve, and they were living in Pierre, South Dakota.

Matt and his wife Rhian (from Portland, Oregon) had four children, Harper, Jackson, Agnes and Everly, who had spina bifida, and they were living in Sisters, Oregon.

Faron and his wife Lorrie (from Larkin, Arkansas) had 13 children, Lincoln, who is married to Ashley Dukes on June 14, 2019, Ethan, J.D. (real named James Dorsey), Jocelyn, TaRanda (named after Faron and Lorrie's favorite singer TaRanda Greene), Cheyenne, Colter, Addison, Brendan, Riley, Cole, Witten and Whitley, and they were living in Dallas, Texas. Lincoln is now living in Whitefish, Montana.

Natalee and her boyfriend Brendan Boone (from Starke, Florida) were set to marry on Nov. 1, 2019. She has four children Charlie, Lilly, Garrison and Landry from a previous marriage to Jacob Combs. She is living in Dallas, Texas.
