On Aug. 21, Don Everly passed away at age 84, seven years after his younger brother Phil's death. Marla first met the Everly Brothers in 1973, one month before they broke up. Marla said that the Everlys, Glasers and the Medderses has broke up, two groups reunited to record the album, and ours did not. Don tries to date Marla after his divorce with Venetia, who named before his daughter, but it was Marla dated Charlie Waters after his first divorce with Mary Ann.
In 1986, Marla reunites with Don and Phil as did her best friend Maverine. They recorded a song called "Making Hard Times" from Maverine's last country album. Marla was still married with Marty, and Maverine still dates Billy Ray Smith Jr. They tried to have a TV show, but it was too late. Marla only lost all of the brothers she loved, especially their now 101-year-old mother.
