On Jan. 4, 2020, Marla was in Miami hanging out with Don Shula as he turns 90 years old. Before that, at Marla's house, Kyle was making a sandwich, when the doorbell rings, it was Gil Brandt. Gil said he needs to talk to Marla, but Kyle said no. Gil also said that he's been scouting Les Josephson, who died on New Year's day. Gil called Marla while she's at the restaurant talking about Josephson's life. Also hanging out is Debrah Wills, the sister of Faron Wills, who survived from a car wreck in 1978. Debrah's husband is already dead and Faron's two sons Brad and Jason, and a teenage granddaughter Bradi were all supporting them. Faron said that he really missed Todd Christensen, a father of 4 boys.
At the club later that night, the song "Who's Cheatin' Who" by Alan Jackson hits the spotlight with Miami Dolphins players Bob Griese, Larry Little and Mercury Morris.
