mark was typing up his notes for his new invention. he had gotten this amazing idea when he saw his crush, walking down the hallway, effortlessly looking beautiful like always. he always got inspiration from donghyuck. mark was like a solar pannel, he always got his energy from the sun. in this case, donghyuck was his sun.

"good job class on this song! just a few notes. this is what i saw during this practice." mr. moon, the choir teacher, said while looking at his clipboard. donghyuck thought he was pretty lucky to have a teacher like him, considering he was one of the greatest vocalist known from the city.

"chenle, your voice has improved! it also sounds about an octave deeper. just keep doing what you're doing!"

"jaemin and renjun. i also noticed an improvement! especially in jaemin's field considering singing isn't your first pick."

he hummed confusedly as he read the notes he wrote down for the next student, "donghyuck... it seems like your voice is raspy, as in tired raspy. remember to keep it strong and clean, also stay behind the bell, i'll write a pass."

the class broke off into their small groups, talking about anything.

"wow chenle you finally decided to hit puberty, congrats!" jaemin said while giggling also shielding himself from chenle's wrath.

"it's not my fault your mom decided to push you out first!" the chinese male huffed.

the group of friends started laughing a chenle's comment, well, everyone expect for donghyuck.

"hey... are you okay?" renjun tapped donghyuck's shoulder making the younger turn to him.

"yeah...i'm fine, just feeling a little under the weather."

"thats what they all say.." jaemin eyed the older male, while leaning against renjun.

"i really am fine guys, don't worry," the brown haired male said while raising his hand. "mr. moon, may i please use the restroom?"

"uhm, yeah sure donghyuck, be back before the bell."

"yes sir."

donghyuck got up of his seat and quietly made his way to the bathroom. lately he was feeling light headed and nauseous a lot recently.

when he got to the small bathroom he turned on the faucet right away and splashed cold water on his face, not even checking if anyone else was there.

"uhh, are you okay?" a deep toned voice, still kind of pitchy said from behind.

the male swung is his around, his hands still clutching the rims of the sink while his body was still facing the mirror. "yeah, i'm fine," donghyuck lightly chuckled, "thanks mark. are you okay?"

"yes, we just have a substitute that i hate, but it's fine." they both giggled. mark loved this. when he could have an casual conversation with the other, without his friends or being all flustered. he couldn't wait to make the hyuck lovebot. he just wanted to snuggle the boy and give him kisses on the-

"mark... i have to go now," the younger said waving his hands infront of mark.

"oh okay, bye donghyuck!" mark smiled.

"bye mark, see you at lunch?"

"see you at lunch!" the canadian threw an awkward thumbs up at his crush.

and with that, donghyuck left while giggling, he's never felt that way before. his stomach was churning and he felt his heart flutter. mark, huh?

meanwhile mark was still trying to contain his happiness, he got to talk to donghyuck today plus he heard him giggle two times.

by the time donghyuck arrived to the classroom he was greated with the sight of all of his friends packing up. he looked up at the clock to see it was 30 seconds until the bell rings.

"bye hyuck!" renjun tapped him on the shoulder, while walking out the door beside jaemin.

"mr. lee, please come here."

"yes mr.moon?" the boy said, stepping closer to his favorite teacher's desk.

"are you feeling okay? you having been sounding your best in class..." taeil's voice suddenly softed while asking the question. he took this time to study the student's dull looking skin and the visible bags under his eyes.

"yes sir, i've just been really stressed."

"if you need anyone to talk to, i'm here. i'm not a counselor or anything but i really want you to be your best in class again and i want you to be mentally stable. can't have one of my best vocalist slacking, right?"

a wide grin formed on donghyuck's lips.
