it has now been a few weeks since the 'markhyuck' couple got together, and fortunately the process ran smoothly.

they would walk each other to class, eat lunch together, go to each other's practices, and have dates during their free time.

needless to say they were happy, their friends were happy, and everything was playing out in their favor.

it was now the friday before spring break and everyone was excited to be getting away from school and having vacations.

"what are you planning on doing for break, hyuck?" mark asked his boyfriend as they sat outside the school, waiting for the last bell to ring.

donghyuck sighed and rested his head on the older's shoulder, "hanging out with you of course," he smiled at his boyfriend. "my parents were planning a trip but their work hours are still too harsh."

"what a bummer," mark said as he ruffled the other's hair, "at least you'll have fun with your amazing boyfriend!" he chuckled and donghyuck giggled at mark's statement.

the pair waited in silence until they heard the final bell ring through and around the school, followed by the many screams from the excited teenagers.

"ah, a whole week to myself, or should i say, ourselves," the younger winked at his partner to which mark just responded with a cheeky smile.

mark held his hand out in order for his boyfriend to grab, which he gladly accepted. "let's get you home, so you can enjoy some alone time," he rubbed donghyuck's hand with his thumb.

donghyuck blushed and nodded towards mark. but not to soon after they heard the screams and laughter of their bestfriends.

donghyuck groaned as he shut his eyes and tried to tune out his friends. his alone time with mark? it didn't exist.

"hey guys," mark chuckled as his friends approached them. "hi" they all responded back. now they were all walking to donghyuck's house apparently.

as they were walking, donghyuck heard a sharp ding from his pocket, indicating that he got a notification. he assumed it was his parents reminding him of something, so he pulled out his phone quickly only to see,

hey hyuck! sorry i didn't get to see you before break happened :( do you wanna hang out over break maybe?

he sighed as he considered whether responding back was the best option or not.

"is everything okay, babe?" mark asked worriedly.

"yeah," donghyuck chuckled nervously as he stared at his phone.

"awww you called him babe!" jaemin shouted from the back.

"yeah yeah," he tanned male rolled his eyes while typing away on his phone.

idk i'm hanging out a lot with mark,
do you mean just the two of us?

yeah!! just the two of us, but mark can come if you want
i didn't know you and him were so close

the boy smiled in victory as he slipped his phone pack in his coat pocket, and grabbed mark's hand once again. maybe yeji would stop coming on to him now that she knows he has a significant other.

"mark, sweetie?" he called cutely as he clung to the older's side. mark could obviously sense that the boy wanted something.

"what is it, donghyuck?"

"guess who just texted me..." donghyuck dragged the end of his words while looking at his partner.

"who?" mark asked dumbfounded.

"yeji."

the older's eyes widen in shock as he heard that name while the others just gasped quietly, "really? i haven't seen her in a while. i used to be so jealous of her," he chuckled and then began to walk again.

"yeah..." donghyuck said shyly, "she wants me to hang out with her but i think she still has a crush on me." he said while rubbing his neck.

"oh."

"so i was wondering if you could go with me? so she could get the message."

mark just sighed as he looked at their intertwined hands swinging back and forth, "sure hyuck, when?"

"uhhh i don't know actually, i'll text her! thank you so much, babe," donghyuck said as he laid a smooch on mark's cheek to which their friends just cooed at them.

"get a room!" jisung gagged while everybody just laughed and continued the walk back to their homes.
