it was now saturday, which meant donghyuck and his friends were together, as usual. they were all piled up in the said male's room, all on their phones.

donghyuck lazily sat up from his bed and groaned. he looked around to see his friends still typing away on their mobile devices.

"have you guys found anything?" he asked quietly, but it just came out as more of a whine.

"no," jaemin replied as he looked up from his phone to see a distressed donghyuck.

the boy has been like this since he got the affectionate gesture, and since he hated secrets, he was more focused on revealing the identity of his admirer rather than the cute present.

"i don't know, but we better find something quick, because i'm hanging out with jisung and his friends today," chenle rolled his eyes while still not focusing on his friends.

donghyuck let out yet another groan, "yeah, yeah, yeah, what ever happened to 'bro's before hoes'?" he asked his younger friend in a sarcastic tone.

"it's because he's a simp, donghyuck." renjun replied dryly. the four boys laughed for quite a while at what the oldest said.

"well i mean, seriously how hard is it to find out who made it, donghyuck?" jaemin started in an annoyed tone, "they're on the robotics team for sure, now you just need to start narrowing it down," he told his friend.

donghyuck nodded slowly before plopping back on his bed in defeat.

"it's obviously not jisung," renjun stated.

"and it's obviously not jeno," chenle retorted.

"wait, why not jeno?" renjun asked dumbfounded.

"because he's whipped for you and nana, have you seriously never seen his googly eyes for you two?" chenle pointed out the obvious.

renjun just blushed and snuggled closer into jaemin's side.

"guys... do you maybe think it's mark? like... he is the captain of the team and he is capable of making something like this." jaemin said, to which donghyuck just dismissed.

"we're only friends— and we've only hung out once, he can't possibly like me, right?"

"i mean... jisung started acting weird after we mentioned it, so who knows maybe it might be mark?" the youngest of the friend group shrugged.

"i seriously don't think he does guys, he just seems like the type to go for it..." donghyuck disagreed yet again.

"okay... i have to go hang out with sung now, so i'll see you guys in a little while!" chenle said as he stood up from his seat.

"yeah me and renjun have plans as well," jaemin stood up and wrapped his arm around the smaller's waist, which only caused renjun to blush.

"yeah okay, have fun losers," the tan male said to his friends as they left his room.

donghyuck sighed as he rolled over to the side of his bed to grab the box. he looked at the box for what seemed like forever. although, he did have to admit, the thought of mark being the lovebot's creator definitely made his heart beat quicker.

"it can't possibly be mark though, right?"
